Well Mir, what I have learned from this event is to invest in more trees and work on those stalls ;)

Just finished the event on this farm. I was quite a way away from the 60k EP (I got just over 47,000) and got three CAC, 19 Mulch and three Chameleon upgrades but I'm happy with that. If I hadn't been working today, I might have been able to make it but not to worry. I finished all the rest so that was good. :)

Julie, you were so close ... next time. ;)

I just delivered my last crops; phew... I'm not normally this late but haven't had time for farming the past few days. Happy Chicken here that got the cloud row :) Congrats to all that have already made it and fingers and paws crossed for yous who are still working on it!!

Ps. I 'm certain I saw lenorereed1 around here today! About time!

I seem to remember "leone" is amazing with numbers, and always calculated the crops needed. This is my best effort:

I did it! I didn't think I'd be able to, especially step 3, but I did! :DI was able to reach the 60,000 stable EP needed on both this farm and on MissSmartyPants. MSP is now completely done, and this farm is just waiting on one last harvest of crops. I opened monkey breeding on both farms, and also now have enough cargo to finish! Thank you to all the kind friends and neighbors who helped me by sending me drops, EM, and SW...I wouldn't have been able to do this with out your help!

I don't get why the comic #7 is ending at 1am on the 22nd? there is no way I can even get 5000 parachute plants now. I've taken all pens off my fields, including all tree's to get max room. I don't have enough GB's to open field 4 on Baha so I'm limited on what I can do there anyway. I used buffs to get max on crops and EP. I used water and manure (even bought manure since my pens are in hiding for now). I bought square crops (these take 10 to 12.45 hrs to grow) to make sure I could get the 1000 needed but its the parachute plants I won't finish. I still need 1700 to get 5000. And lets forget the 8000 and all the red cabbage (17 hrs??) its going to take on the last one. Hoe some farmers finished this I don't know. But I busted butt and didn't come close. Makes me not want to do anymore of these contests and just concentrate on the contests in the farmers society.

    Thanks, uggi-buggi! :D
It might be ending at 1a.m. where you are (and it's ending at 5a.m. where I am), but it's ending at 11:00a.m. in Germany, which is where the game is based. :)

I know that start and end times are not convenient to many but I look at it from a former programmer's viewpoint. I used to do 24 hr support of a major US company mainframe computer programs. They ran 24/7 so I was available 24/7 but during the day, I had the entire team to assist in any problems that might occur. At night, I had only myself and possibly one or two others to help solve any issues that came up. Since the programmers working for BigPoint are based in Germany, I prefer that event start times coincide with the times when the most rested and largest number of programmers are available to solve any issues that come up. Keep in mind that the farmers that may have issues are using computers that may be several years old (and that is OLD in computer terms), run on many different types of processors, have many different types of operating systems, many different types of browsers, run many different anti-viral software programs and have many different levels of computer expertise (or lack therein) in their owners.

The key to growing all the plants is to use 1x1 fields and carrot apple chutney. Then you get 3 times more crops! But that is a lot of work to plant and harvest, so if you don't buy harvest helpers, try to save some coupons for events. Actually 15000 of a 5 hour crops is less than we usually have to grow.

I don't know what level you are on or how long you have been playing but when I started it was a year before I finished my first event. Before that I would count myself lucky to get even halfway through. Yes it does take a lot of planning and this last event is the hardest I have done. The delayed start helped me a lot as by the time it started ALL my trees were ready to harvest and I then grew all the crops I needed followed by the animals. As soon as the animals were done I completed the donations of the last levels although I did have to wait a day for the drops to come in. I also had to breed the Squirrel Monkeys, which I did whilst I built up my crops.
I do hope that the next event is one you can finish. Everyone on the Forum is so helpful and there is always good advice on the best way to tackle any event. So good luck shetaz71 for next time.

I did use apple chutney... I had a few of them. I'm 897 short on the parachute.

Thank u! I've been playing off and on for 3 years. This is the first one that I tried to finish. There were a few things that happened on here between me a BP that made me quit playing for 8 months. I actually bought the squirrel monkeys when I was on the first task. I sold them when I knew there was no way I'd finish the last task. I made some money selling them back...lol. Very happy that u wee able to finish! I'm a level 76 (soon to level up) and just leveled up on Baha (97).

I know the game is based in Germany. I just thought they'd give more time and have it end 6 or 7 hrs longer on the 22nd. Didn't mean to ruffle feathers.

No worries, no ruffled feathers here. :) This event was more difficult than previous ones have been. I'm glad to hear you used Carrot Apple Chutney on 1x1's, but I'm sorry you weren't able to finish. I know you ended up buying crop squares, but you mentioned the (long) growing time for them and for red cabbage, so I want to point out that the best way to deal with those kinds of crops is to already have them stocked in your barn beforehand. I know that doesn't help you for this event, but for next time...if you already have a couple thousand of each kind of crop stocked in your barn, you don't have to waste precious time growing them during the event. That leaves more time for growing the event crop, which might help you finish before the clock runs out. I wish you luck for next time! :)

Check out the event clock, its got its own thread in the event forum. That tells you the time they are using, then you can go from there. For example, I just checked and it is a bit after 5AM on the 23rd there, but its 11PM on the 22nd here.

A lot of farmers bought or had the red cabbage already. Parachutes depend partly on when you finished the other parts, but also using Carrot-Apple chutney, or pumpkin jam if you cannot afford or make the chutney, (pumpkin yields 1 extra per plot, carrot apple 2 extra), helps. Super grow and suzy super grow help as well.

I only just started finishing events. This is only about the 3rd I have been able to finish -- and I did not finish a couple of the most recent ones fully. Even so, I did not get all the awards for steps 1 & 3, but I was able to get the cloud row.

I did use carrot-apple chutney (what I had) along with others to produce more yield. It still wasn't enough to help me finish with crops.

Did you use 1x1 plots, or did you use big 2x2 plots?
