I still think it's a waste everyone can avoid for a much better option: EM+SprWr combined, extended with PinkiePie, will have effect on everything on all lands for 15:36 hs, thus allowing to cover all 12 hs trees twice, including XXLs, chestnut trees and apple trees.

Besides, the worst items in Island are, as a rule, trees (they yield less (B)-EPs both in absolute and in per hr terms than Farm's trees do). The contrary happens with pens: the best ones in (B)-EPs/plot/hr terms for step3 are the Island's, where space usage with pens should be maximized for that step.

GM is costly and, for a meagre 20% difference on the land where trees are the worst EP-yielders, in my opinion, doesn't make any sense.

Got 43523 on the first harvest! Looks like I will get this first step complete.

(Only one owl, EM, SW with almost every tree I own.)

I had enough on the first field of trees but I did have a screw up of the day! Fever of 102 has addled my brain...

I checked to see the event started, ate buffs, and harvested first field and then remembered to turn on the timer. Fortunately, the rest of my farm was in trees too and now step one is done. On to step 2...

BW did not have enough EP from trees and so will have to harvest again. It has no pets but have put mulch on the highest trees to harvest again tonight. Not sure I will get the full 60k there but even partial rewards allow to go on to the next level.

Going back to bed....

Chevrfuille, You are not alone in forgetting Fuzzy...I too remembered after harvesting my trees Didn't matter how many times I reminded myself. Just have to put it behind me and carry on

 

Just harvested most of my trees, a few will mature in between 1/2 and 3 hours. So far, have just over 9,000 EP. I am not quite sure how to stop and then restart, as the FAQs indicate we can do. However, no sense even trying until I have enough event crop and so forth to finish step 2.

Taking down some of my quicker pens and putting in crop space. Soon I am going to have to choose, make a balance between event crops and animal pens. Not sure about trees, yet.

 

woody, you can't stop and restart What the FAQ says, is that if you get less than 2400EP in the full 24 hours, then you can try again (since that is not enough to get any reward).

You have already gotten 9000 EP, so this is your only shot, just have to make the best out of it

 

So hard not to harvest the few trees that are ready while waiting for other trees!!!! Feel better pnp!!

 

Just got a question guys i have
2 Pomegranate Trees
2 XL Pomegranate Trees
Yet I've noticed the EP on them is both the same 76 ( with gawd knows what buffs i chucked on them) lol so ... my question is .... is it normal to have a XL and a standard tree the same EP or are my trees broken ?

In less than 24 hours (and because of my RL schedule), I'm expecting to start harvesting step 3.
I had to take off some of my mandatory trees in the magical glade, leaving me 6 pen spaces.
They were already filled with my 5 XXL jumbo stables (unfortunately with PF...) and the orange raccoon stall. They all take forever to mature!

In about 3.5 hours, I'll put the rest of the stables with all the necessary buffs. Probably fill the gaps with 1x1 plots for the parachutes.
Hopefully, tomorrow around this time, when I'm able to login again, everything will be ready to harvest and start doing the math for whatever EP is still missing. As long as I don't forget the timer...

Trees were easy for me. Don't expect to be like that for stables... I really don't want to use any EM or SpWr...

Oh! And crossing fingers for those parrot-feather and peanut-butter workshops!

EDIT2: It just occurred to me. If the singing flowers cloud row will be available as soon as the party wheel fun event starts, then anyone who'll soon get the 5 flowers can profit from the 30% EP/BEP that the cloud row provides.
The FAQ doesn't say that those 30% will be for a specific subject, so I'm assuming it's for everything. Plus, this bonus lasts for 24 hours!!! How about that?
Start the timer for the stables and start the cloud row at the same time.
That is providing you can get the 5 flowers by the time you're ready to harvest the stables...

Am I thinking correctly or I'm missing something?

 

work shops dont work i don't think only animal stalls ....

 

There was an announcement regarding some exceptions on workshops that might work depending on the age of them. You won't know until you try them so it is a risk. If you don't have enough stalls and cannot buy more, it is worth a shot, but only on the ones described.
