Feedback Farmerama - Game and Features

Sincerely hoping that there is a compensation package for being locked out of the game for an hour - and that the compensation package includes a 200% EP/TEP bonus. Mine was running and had enough time left for my main harvest, but I couldn't get into the game until an hour after it ran out.

 

I would like to express my sincere thanks for the opportunity to purchase PF, SG and SSG in the Farm Coin shop - for CCs! This is a very exciting dynamic change and I think a lot of farmers will be very pleased to see this. This is one more way in which I see that BP IS listening to what the players are saying. Thank you for this, and for the many, many positive changes that have been made to the game in the last year.

 

I want to also say thanks for the being able to purchase with CCs in the Farm Coin Shop!

 

Lately, events seem to have been pleasantly spaced out and the requirements have been pretty achievable but this all stopped this week. We have three events going on, all with different requirements and crops to grow. One or two events concurrently is enough, it is hard to remember what we should be doing where.
If this wasn't enough, a BB and half price sale this weekend - and I almost forgot with everything else going on!

I don't want to complain about half price breeding and the Farm Coin event but with three other time intensive events all at once is just too much!
Please even the events out a little so we can give each one the same attention.

PLEASE SLOW DOWN! I like to participate in events, but I also want some time in between to grow crops, raise animals, do some society quests, etc. Lately we have been having constant events, multiple events at the same time, etc. Please stop doing this! I think it would be ideal to have two major events each month, along with the normal recurring things (like the full moon time). I know we don't have to participate in everything, but when we don't participate we miss out on some new animal or tree, etc.

I want to be able to come play this game to relax, to get my mind off of things that cause stress in real life. Lately, this game feels overwhelming, not relaxing. Please, please, please slow down...

 

Something needs to be done about the algorithm for receiving tools.

I receive hundreds of tools a day, sometimes opening several XXL toolboxes. And yet it has been quite literally months since I received a single mallet.

I fully understand that some tools are rarer than others. But when certain upgrades require 8 of an extremely rare tool, you need to balance that with the algorithm. At this rate it would take me genuinely 2 years to get enough mallets for 2 extra slots. I currently need 18 mallets just to get 2 extra slots for my baha menagerie, baha arboretum and mainland manufactory. It could be 3 or 4 years before I've collected those 18 mallets, and that isn't including the baha manufactory I only recently obtained which has no extra slots opened (but is not currently in use on my farm).

Like I said, I'm in full support of having some rare tools, but balance the requirements against the algorithm, please. Waiting what could be 3 or 4 years to get a few extra slots is just ridiculous. And if you think it will make me more inclined to purchase bonuses with my RL money to get more toolboxes etc...no. It's making me less inclined. When I open hundreds of toolboxes over several months and get 0 mallets it doesn't fill me with confidence that my money would be well spent.

 

Little tip for getting wooden mallets. Refine Iris to get the 1000% chance. You'll have enough to upgrade in a week or less once you get that refinement

Once again we have had multiple events going on making it difficult to balance everything.

G&T was very low key this time, I am sure that many people like me were too busy to take much time to participate. G&T takes time and effort - looking through exchanges, Forum posts, etc. It should be on at the same time as a less time consuming event such as a breeding event or an easy grow and throw event.
Instead we had the Taskmap event and daily events - not to mention MM at the weekend.

It came as no surprise that the Taskmap event started late due to technical issues nor that MM had its own problems - too many things going on and so game issues occur.

I know this is a business and you wish to encourage players to pay real money but the reverse will happen if this continues. I know that many people opted out of the daily events - me for instance. If there were less events going on simultaneously and a bit of a break in between, people would be more inclined to participate in events and maybe pay for baskets and the like.

Yes it's a business, but not a fair one. 1 out of 10 BP for your fairness factor

 

It has finally come time for a third mill. The mainland mill has too many things to mill and even adding to the queue won't solve it. Now you are adding even more Moonlight feeds to the game. Give us a third mill. (Power feed, which can be used on all pens (Main, Moonlight, Baha) should be an option in all mills.)

 

I agree with regards to the mills. We need another one for moonlight stuff, or at a minimum, a separate one for event milling, and PF should be able to be made in any mill - although I'd support only being able to make it in one mill at a time.

In regards to the Moonlight portion of Farmerama, I think it would be beneficial to the farmers if the Moonlight Products tab would open up into four categories Trees, Crops, Animals, and Products.
Also with all this is going on these days in Jack's world it would be wonderful if the Moonlight fields were opened more time each month or permanent.
PS: Yes as Noelle20001 & -matselleste- said about a third mill, I also would like to see another mill added that would be great even if it is just an event mill. An event mill that when not in use for events would have the ability to mill Power Feed.

 

I, too, would love to see MM items separated out into their respective categories while viewing in the barn like the main and tropical ones are. I also would love to see an overhaul of Jack's Shop so that when you enter the shop, it is similar to our inventory/shopping basket options....trees, stables/workshops and givers. It is hard to find certain things in there.

I was told there would be a chance to buy the items for the incomplete Party Row 4 (Mythic pegasus, mythic dragon, mythic Cerberus etc) in the party wheel jackpot cloud row sale. It is on now and I can see the items from other incomplete cloud rows available (flowers, scarecrow, birdstone, slide party wheel cloud row items) but not the Mythic Party Row 4 ones I want. Can these please be included in the next Party Wheel Jackpot Cloud Row Item Sale?

Although there is continuing improvement with using Unity, there are still many players who are experiencing severe problems which spoil their enjoyment of the game.

I am speaking on behalf on one such farmer who, due to a combination of trying Unity and the extended maintenance yesterday missed a prize on the Winter Calendar. To continue, it was necessary to pay 8 BBs but, unfortunately, because of lag, the farmer pressed a couple of extra times and 24 BBs were taken - how can this happen?

During this difficult time, both externally and within the game, plus being the season of goodwill, it would be a nice gesture to waive any missed log-ins and not charge for missing a window in the Winter Calendar. Sometimes it is just not possible, when combined with real life and different time zones, to log in during the correct time-scale.

 

As a returning player, I just want to give a big thumbs up to the Happy Workshop day event. Fantastic idea and it's great to be able to use the multiple workshops getting dusty in my barn.

I'm also very happy to see the abundance of new items on the Tree of Wisdom and in the Monkey Temple. The production trees are specifically awesome.

What I'm less happy with is the rampant in-game inflation. Instead of giving players the option of increasing how much they can charge for an item, you should be putting stricter limits on holding prices down. It might be possible for long-time players with vast amounts of wealth to pay insanely high prices but new players will never be able to. The only way a game lives and thrives is with a steady influx of new players. This game is complicated and hard enough without adding in an unnecessary hurdle of a stifling economy.

 

I think that there should be separate threads for the main features of the game. I think this format lends itself to comments about a certain feature of the game to be lost. For instance, the farm wheel is what I would consider to be a hot topic. It deserves a thread of its own, and I believe that the issues/praises of this feature get lost amidst all the other comments about features of the game. I am quite sure that there are other features of the game that deserve a thread of their own as well.
