I am very happy to see the return of "Today's Events" on the Forum. It is so easy to check what is on and what I might have forgotten. A definite plus for me! :inlove:
I don't know how long it has been reinstated but I noticed it yesterday and will use it every day! :music:

I especially like this year's Winter Calendar. It's beautiful to see - colors and design make me smile! The way the weeks are divided is really well designed. :inlove:

PS the presents are also very much appreciated!

I am very saddened to see that our private IGMs are being ridiculously censored for words that are current in the game and many of which relate to events. These words are not censored here in the Forum, why should our private messages be screened? :wuerg:

We have a system of reporting any abuse or bad language within messages and can do that quite easily. We can stop someone writing to us if we find the content of their messages annoying/upsetting/rude/abusive or if we just don't like the tone. Why do we need an automated censoring system picking out individual words (and even parts of words) that it has been programmed to "star" out? It is not doing the job and has absolutely no useful purpose. >:(
Please deactivate it, I am sure the mechanics and technology could be better used elsewhere. :)

Thank you illy1996,:inlove: these are also my thoughts and feelings! Such a waste of time when we are trying to communicate faqs for an event and the words used in the event are censored! This is a game, stop taking the fun out of it, and leave our private IGMs alone!

Winter calendar is AMAZING. I never have to wonder if I clicked on the right thing, or if something is ready to be clicked on. But I really came here to say how GORGEOUS winter on the farm is!! The artwork is truly lovely.

Yes, the winter scene is beyond beautiful! I love it! Also the compensation package is really appreciated, and I can't speak for my fellow farmers, but for me, a few hour delay (which really is all day for me, since I had to go off to work before the new release time) on such a long running event, in return for a Piccolo Box - worth it!

It doesn't really seem to be in the spirit of Christmas to gift cloud rows that are only accessible to those who logged in every day of the year. I'm grateful for the other aspects of the gift and I know you don't need to offer us anything so it's generous that you send out the gift, but nevertheless it seems a bit mean spirited to exclude people from a major component of the gift.

It always surprises me the extent to which BP assumes people are spending every waking hour on their farm. When I started playing this game as a pre-teen, that might have been true. As an adult with a career and life responsibilities, it's not. I didn't play for months. I came back about 6 weeks ago. I'll probably not be in very frequently in the new year. Sure, one could argue that as a sporadic player, I'm not entitled to the best gifts that the most loyal players get. One could also argue that as a player of 14 years, I've shown more loyalty than most.

I like the idea of cloud rows that use the login items. I do think it's a good feature that those who play literally every day can get some extra advantages from that to reward them for their loyalty (and to incentivise people to log in more often). If those were standalone cloud rows and not purported to be a Christmas gift, I'd have no issue - they just don't apply to me, which is the case for many features in this game, and that's that. But I don't think it's a particularly kind idea to tie those cloud rows up in a Christmas gift. If you give someone a gift that they can't use - well, it's not a gift any more.

Like I said, I'm really grateful for the other aspects of the gift. But if you want to gift your players a cloud row - actually do that, not for some, but for all. In a season that's supposed to be about kindness and generosity and goodwill, to send out a gift that excludes so many players seems a bit out of touch.

Those login decos come in some stage to Farm coin shop, so you can buy the missing ones.

I know, but that's still not really the point, is it? Farm coins are pretty limited and hard to come by for many (especially those not logging in daily), and similar to above, if you have to pay to access the cloud rows - to the exclusion, therefore, of being able to purchase alternative items from the shop - it's not really a gift.

As I stated above, I have no issue with there being cloud rows for the daily login items - in fact I think it's a really great idea. My issue is with these cloud rows being provided as a Christmas gift. It's mean spirited to give someone a gift that they either can't access at all or have to pay a high price to access. By all means have a cloud row for daily login bonuses - just don't spruik it as a gift when it's actively exclusionary to many recipients. If you're gifting a cloud row, gift one we can all use.

The 3 cloud rows offered for the monthly givers gifted by logging each day have been going for a long time, except once a few years back, they've been part of the Christmas comunity gift. BP can only provide them through a gift be it with the Christmas gift or not, I don't see a special script running to book them into players' accounts that only have the appropriate givers.

Please reread what I said. I never said there should be a script to only give it to the relevant players.

I know they've been going for many years - I've been playing for 14. But just because it's always been part of the Christmas gift, doesn't mean that's the right approach. I am more than happy for it to be available to all players and only used by those who have the means access to it (I've said this above) - this is the case for the majority of cloud rows, and it's fine. They give us cloud rows all the time, I'm not sure why you feel the only way for us to get it is through a Christmas gift. Why not book it to every player another time, or make it part of the login bonus? My point is that at Christmas, a time for generosity and goodwill, a "gift" that many can't partake in isn't a gift at all. I did not say give it to only some players. I said that at Christmas, it might be nice if the gift was given in the spirit of the season, rather than giving people something they're excluded from.

I also love the winter theme - even gets darker (making the decs prettier) when it is getting towards evening and early morning. Kudos! :inlove:
I would also like to say how happy I am to see the News window back. Well done. ;)

I think the Mods and the Devs work so hard to keep our game fun and flowing, not always an easy task! Thank you for everything you do for us and the Merriest Christmas and Happiest of New Years to you all! :)
