Milling powerfeed with the extra slot (the one I paid money for) seems to have a bit of a glitch. I had other non-powerfeed feeds in the queue to mill after the non-powerfeed feed finished and this morning, the second slot (the one I paid for) is sitting empty and there are three NOT powerfeed feeds sitting in the queue twiddling their thumbs.

Anyway, just a warning for anyone who has purchased the second slot: micro-manage your feed queue. It's not working.

I'm not sure I'm understanding the new mill. Do we get one 'free' slot, and have to pay every 30 days to unlock the rest? There is no way to permanently unlock them? Am I reading this correctly?

Rivak there are four free slots in all three mills. You can buy an extra slot. That slot works at the same time as the first so you can mill two feed at the same time. The other ones wait till one of the others are empty. That is the same as it works now.

    You can't buy it permanently

@rivak there are two different mill monthly subscription: the usual one that reduces milling time by 50% for 720h and there is a new one where you get a second milling slot to mill 2 differents feeds at the same time. If you look a little to the right, you can see 3 other empty slots where you can queue feeds to be milled.

I appreciate the addition of the Eerie Mill! yes, the new format takes a minute to get used to, but overall, the advantages are lovely and the fourth slot is very helpful!

Happy,Happy,Happy with the new mill and the ability to mill Fullmoon Feed while still having slots to mill Mainland feeds!
Like -matselleste- said it does take a little getting use too but it is a great concept! Thanks to all involved in the process!

Thank you for the news about the three empty slots. I saw the blue 'buy' button under them and I thought I had to pay to use them. Knowing they are free makes me feel a LOT better about the changes.

I wish that were the case. This morning, I woke up to the second (paid for) slot empty and the queue full behind it. Emptied the queue and was able to fill the second slot. Then refilled the queue. I have no idea why I even bothered because it will only fill the first (left-most) slot. It will NOT fill the right slot automatically from the queue. Therefore, it's useless because the mill actually has to be looked at every few hours to make sure the slot is full and operating. Why spend money to save time/babysitting on something that essentially doesn't work. I will not renew that feature when the time is up. I'm trying to work smarter not harder on my farms right now - I just don't have enough time in the day for all of this falderal.

The Game Team is aware the Mill is not working properly. It will be fixed next week. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Love the new mill set-up, now we can mill MM feed separately from main mill feed which still includes powerfeed (hopefully PF will be available to MM mill as there are far less animals to mill feed!). with 4 slots open now I am glad I did not consider buying the extra mill slot. (Sorry for your frustration PrairieMaden23).

Finished the MasterTask list of 6 items with 16 hours left (Can you believe it!!) The game showed the last reward for the last task of super grow but did not show the final reward of a 3 hr harvester coupon but when I checked my inventory it was there. NOTE: The information buttons on the MasterTask do not work- click it but nothing happens.

Masterclass Tasks are too specific regarding location. The fields it asks for may already be occupied with something else and having to wait to have the space to do the task, means that there is risk to running out of time to complete all 6 tasks.

I failed to completed the Masterclass as it asked for stables on a field that had been planted with crops.

It would be nice if it were more general such as Tropical, Mainland, or Fullmoon so that we could use any field in those sections and not be tied specifically to one field. With no overview of the tasks, there is no way to plan for them like a quest.

    Just my 2 CCs.

I agree with the above post by pnp, it is very hard to plan what might need to happen for the MasterClass tasks.

On another note, I got ALL THE WAY through my entire morning harvest without a single crash! This has NEVER happened before and was much, much, much appreciated!!!

City Project Pop-ups. I do not want them to keep popping up on the farm. It is distracting and annoying. Please let us have the opportunity to hide them.

I might be in the minority but I really like the Masterclass. Could do without the pop-ups but, for me anyway, it only happens two or three times though maybe that is because I am doing the Masterclass.:p

The first thing I do is check the City Tasks/Masterclass and see what is required. For the City Tasks, I see if anything can be done without changing my routine. If it asks me to spend BBs, I spend one - on that task - two birds with one stone! :D

For the Masterclass, I can work around whatever field it needs and try to do at least two tasks on the first day, ideally more but it all depends what is needed. After that my normal farming day can begin. :music:

After 16 years' playing this game, I enjoy something that takes me away from the normal routine and gives me good prizes too. Today I think I completed the fourth Masterclass and was awarded 20 BBs - plus all the smaller prizes along the way. I'm happy with that. :inlove:

I also love the Master Class and now that I'm used to them, find things going more smoothly. I check City Tasks every day before beginning my daily farm tasks and they are also going well.

The new mill is amazing. Took me a while to get used to clicking the + sign to fill the three slots on the right - initially, I'd always click the name of the mill to the left, but now, this too, is pretty much routine. Having the Moonlight Mill is so helpful as I tend not to use it when MM isn't running and it's perfect for all the event tasks. I didn't buy the blue slot as I already have a Mill subscription and was pleased it segued perfectly into the new setup. Thanks to the game team for these very helpful improvements! :inlove:

Just a thought about the difficulty of some events for new players. I recall when I began playing and remember clearly being unable to complete almost any event. Fortunately for me and some others who also migrated here at the same time, my good friend and neighbor happycallie encouraged and mentored me. She explained how she and members of her family were long-playing farmers and I figured any game that brought together friends and family for that length of time, has to be worth pursuing. I made many mistakes initially and still do, but decided I was in it for the long haul and as time went by, I find my enjoyment has increased as well as my appreciation for this global community. Personally, I've learned a lot during this time, and not just rules/FAQs of the game, but about myself, what's important in my life. There's always something to learn.

I agree with illy, the masterclass is a wonderful new addition and challenge to us longtime farmers! ;)
However, I have been skeptical about planting some long term crops until I see what new step I have for masterclass. I do wish we could toggle through to see what the next few steps will require.:music:

I agree: the new mill and Masterclass were really good additions/improvements to the game :inlove:

I began one new set this morning and the final prize is a cuca stall :D

Conceptually, I like both the daily and master class idea. But it seems counterintuitive to spend more time (ripping stuff up), effort, and far too many resources to be rewarded with less than what is required to 'sacrifice'.

We should be able to use as many swaps as required in the master class to ensure completion. What good is a task if the requirement takes longer than the time left on the timer? Risk to reward ration is way off.

I love this game - 10years+ - mostly for the players/forum...however it is like a Soap Opera. You can leave it for years and upon coming back - same suggestions, same complaints, same compliments - but very little has changed.
