I always lock my cloudrows by removing an item. The CR will never show up as ready because it is not completely filled, but as soon as the decoration is added again the CR can be activated.

    Jennifer,

I don't get what your objection on what I suggested is, if there is any.

Of course you can do that, yet it means performing another manual process, repeated as many times as CRs at risk of accidental harvesting there are. It is a sensible workaround. But my point was clearly aimed at improving functionality in CRs harvesting -be it through machinery or not-, and especially at adding a way to avoid harvesting what you don't want to when using machinery, which could improve the attractiveness of buying the service, unattractive for me as is.

I used to do what you mention but I stopped to when it became -at least for me- cumbersome, even pointless if I don't have room to place the items in wait, because this kind of CRs multiplied and piled up -and we have no way to know how many more there will be in the future-, while being -each of them- very important. As of now, I can count at least 6 of this kind of CRs in the Others category, 6 in the Animals one and another 9 in the Crops/Trees one, which makes a total of 21 CRs for which I should remember and invest my time to remove an item and then add it back to make it active. At least for me, hardly a way to make things easier.

I didn't have an objection at all. I just wanted to let people know that for now there is a way to exclude a CR from the harvester and that it will be ready when needed. Unfortunately one can only deactivate a CR while it is ready.

Of course it is a good idea to come up with a way to exclude specific CRs from the harvesting process. The CRs have become more complicated since the days that they exclusively gave EP. The harvester needs to address the difficulties in timing. Right now I am not using harvesters very often, but it did of course upset me to activate a CR that is connected to some sort of great bonus but that is utterly useless right now.

    A lock would really help.

Or if we talk wishlist: A way to actually time CRs by using the harvester would be great. And why not make the CR harvester an auto harvester unless a specific harvesting time is given (harvester automatically harvests ready CRs except for example the breeding CR which will be automatically harvested at date/time). It would be so great if I could just set the couple of necessary times on CRs and then have the harvester do the work (maybe it only harvests while being logged into the game though).

And considering that CRs seem to be really easy to be added to the game (same as new animals and trees and quests...), we probably will be having a lot more of them, let alone more and more complicated ones.
So fast, so much new stuff... too fast, too much new stuff...

With so much new stuff I would like to suggest adding new categories in the market. At this point at least tree fruit deserve their own slide in the top row. And with so many quests I wish I could mark some favorites there too and sort them somehow.

EDIT: I like that I can sort the CRs a bit more now and that they are more organized. Thank you dev team. This is why I thought being able to sort the quests in the farmers society might be a good idea.

I know there is, and probably always will be, a lot of mixed feelings about the prize wheel. This one you can file under complaint.

I would say on average 50% or more of my "Jackpot" for the party wheel has been something completely absurd. 4,920 BEP is the current Jackpot. It's hard enough for me to spin the wheel when there's a Scarecrow or Flower in the Jackpot slot along side a Red Bat Roost or any other combination of product/yellow stables, but these recent jackpots aren't very enticing at all. Please fix this so that the Jackpot at least has something worth spinning the wheel, especially with the party tickets, and please add a variety of red stables so that it isn't always the same Bats.

I too used to love to go to the News page when returning home from work to see what was new and then scroll down and see if I had received any gifts from kind neighbors so I could thank and reciprocate in kind...... but now..... the news flashes on as soon as I log in, while I am trying to do other things... and also i get notifications of being gifted by neighbors because I have that turned on, otherwise I would never know if someone sent me something.... I don't see how else to check it.

On another note... I just love the new back drop of the forum...... The spooky Halloween theme and beautiful floating animals which seem to be translucent.... are amazing.... ! Thank you BP for making our visit to the forum more enjoyable.

In a nutshell, I think BP have made some great moves and after a year plus of playing this game I still love it and look forward to events etc. The prizes we get, in the main, are pretty fantastic I think. The EP/BEP/CC amounts especially have been extremely generous. They keep us on our toes with improvements and trying new games/new features to keep us happy. Yes, there's been some **** ups along the way, but for the most part I think they've done a great job and make this a mentally and visually fun and interesting game. I loved the podcast they did for us this week. It was great 'meeting' some of the game team and seeing them 'do their thing'! Even though it was only quick glimpses into how they create this wonderful game, it was interesting nonetheless. We sit at our piece of technology, complaining about this and that but for a lot of us, we have no idea how long it takes these guys to do stuff from the idea stage to the final creation on our screen. The fact they ask for, listen to and respond to our feedback is great and by all accounts, this is a rather unusual occurence, or so I gather from other peoples comments about other games they play. That they give us a glimpse behind the scenes I think is cool but maybe that's just me. Even though I don't think I'd been playing long when Varun took over the reins (think I'm right in saying that?), I think he's done a good job so well done Varun and the Farmerama Team. There prob are a few little niggles here and there but it's late and I'm keeping this positive, so keep up the good work guys, thanks for a great game! And of course, a big thank you to all our Mods who are on 'the front line'! :)

Since the debacle of the re-do of Bahamarama, I still have my meditation monkey prominently on my shipwreck bay, I do believe things are much less buggy and much less hiccups. I do believe that this game has progressed to the point that at least they are somewhat listening to the people who actually play the game rather than doing whatever you feel like it. It felt that way to me. You have come a long way, however, you need to keep up the aspect of not seeming greedy or money grubbing, and actually listen to us.

I am amazed! Firstly, I have never found THAT game. The one that would stick for me. This one has! One year ago this month I found Farmerama. It has been a thrilling ride! Many events have come and gone, upgrades have been put into play, new lands have been developed for our exploration... You can't make everyone happy all pf the time, but it shows that you try!
I've always been the one watching the "special features" on the movies at home. This month's video podcast was just that for me. A behind the scenes peek at out developers and other members of the team. Well done BP! I can't wait to see what the next year will bring!!

On the new setup for the cloud rows, I would like to see how many BB's it takes to purchase one we have not purchased in the tooltip description along with the rewards and time it takes. Only on the ones not purchased that can be purchased in the cloud row.

I also would like to see the confirmation for spending BB's added back to the cloud row for those rows, it would prevent accidental clicking. As of now, you can buy one and not even realize you have.

I would also like to see more cloud rows that can be purchased with stars on the tree of wisdom. You have 5 now, I'd like to see more. Event cloud rows that add animals or anything is nice, but what if you started farming after the event?

I will also post in the suggestion area the suggestions.

I personally find very little value in the amount one has to pay for BB's in exchange for services and or goods and is far too expensive. I purchased 800 PF thinking that would be enough to go through at least the silver level from 1 - 10 in the Golden Eggs quest. To my astonishment I required much much more:( I wasted nearly $20.00 in that venture and more $$ on others. More importantly, I wasted many hours and days on a quest or event I was unable to finish. I now refuse to buy anything else! I realize that $$ pays for the developers and staff and I am more than happy to pay you. Be reasonable in what you ask for in exchange for the value you give.

    Suggestions:
Allow players to use stars as an option to purchase PF, SG, Farm Assistant, Farm Supplies etc...and be reasonable about it.

Ensure that whatever platform we are using to play Farmerama (Bigpoint, Bigfish etc) that they are ALL in sync and offer EXACTLY the same accessibility to everything offered for every member. For example, the forum is not available on Bigfish (I started there and ended up opening a farm on Bigpoint just so I could access the forum to stay in the loop and meet other farmers!! ) Grrrrr Another is that the "Cinema" never works on Bigfish therefore a player can't earn BB's. Grrrrrr.......there is more....Grrr

When a player first starts playing Farmerama, although it is confusing at first, it is also exciting and thrilling! At least it was for me! I am only at level 78 and am losing interest. At this level one needs a HUGE amount of EP to level up...help us to ENJOY the game at this level by offering value. Value will keep us interested and entice us to want more. I welcome a challenge, please make it worth my while.

Assign a mentor to a new player immediately and explain the benefits. This is of great VALUE! :)

Make this game user friendly by remembering most players have to pay bills and live...thus work....and there are many differing time zones....perhaps the game creators could offer personalized timing events (it is offered as quests). That would allow players to finish an event within the exact time allotment rather than allocated day/s as it is currently offered. Many times I have missed a babyboom event because it is based upon a differing time zone. I would have to start the event at 3am...not happening!! That time is reserved for my zzzzzzzzzzz's....Remember that time is precious....offering everything in a timely manner is rewarding in many ways for all.

Instead of offering the premium for a week with a purchase, entice us with an offer of a free week of premium without a necessary purchase. I would pay either a monthly or yearly fee to be a premium member IF I was offered value first! I was a member of another game site and I paid a $40 yearly fee. So keep it reasonable and you will attract more members!

When there is a mishap, such as members being locked out due to login issues...acknowledge it and offer IMMEDIATE compensation or????? Valuable resources are on a timer, whether paid for with $$ or not, when we are locked out we lose out! I had to go searching on the internet to find out why I was locked out. I found an unrelated site that offered some info. This has happened to me at least twice in the past couple of days....and I am not alone.

Okay that is it for now!!!
    Happy farming everyone:):)

Could they change it back to the way it was. I haven't bought the BBs, but have to scroll through them now. I won't buy the CR harvester as it is too expensive for the short benefit time.
Even though I had repositioned them at the end, the 'fix' has placed them near the beginning of my CRs. What a useless fix. PUT it back the way it was

I agree with a lot of what has already been stated. You have an excellent game here and you do a very good job of constantly coming up with new things to keep people interested, but I don't feel like you really listen to the players, your customers, when they report problems. A perfect example is the cinema. It has not worked properly for months. I'm quite sure that if a major portion of the game, i.e., access to the cloud rows, was inoperable it would be fixed in no time at all. It just appears to me that because the cinema gives players a method to obtain BB's without spending real money it is not a priority to you. Remember this is just a game! Some of us can not afford, or do not intend to spend real money to play it. You are not going to change that. I fully understand that BP is in the business of making money and has to have an income to pay the expenses of keeping this game operating, but we both know you make more ~edit~ from the companies who pay to have their videos run on the cinema than you do from people buying BB's. A small thing to you can become a major irritant to me, to the point where I will find another game to play and, or I will cease recommending farmerama to others.

This game is also very labor intensive. For hand farmers this is a major problem and definitely detracts from the fun of playing this game. I am to the point now where I dread my morning harvest! It takes me a good thirty minutes to harvest and replant/feed and water all my land, stables, trees, and workshops. It takes a tremendous amount of clicking to do all that. The helper coupons definitely help, but they are few and far between and the price of machines is exorbitant when compared to other games. The main reason I left the facebook farming game was the expense, but at least there once you bought the machinery you kept it. It would improve this game tremendously if you would decrease the amount of clicking required to produce crops, trees, animals, and operate workshops, or made the helpers more affordable.

I absolutely love the timers on the outside of the cloud rows! It makes it so much easier to scroll through and see when rows will be ready for harvest. Thank you very much! I would still like to see a flag, like you have when a stable, or workshop is ready for harvest, or some type of signal on the vine itself to alert us when a cloud row is ready for harvest. It would be so nice to be able to see when a cloud row/rows is ready to be harvested when I look at the farm map. Please consider this.

Overall I do enjoy this game, but were it not for the wonderful people in the forum and playing the game, I would have already changed to a different game. The little frustrations with things not working and the amount of work/ time required to play this game is rapidly adding up for me. Several people I recommended it to have already left because of the amount of effort and the cost required to play this game. You have a good product here and good people working on it. Please just make it a little more user friendly. Thank you.

    Market Price Restrictions
Where there is no items currently for sale of a particular product, there is too low a cap on the price able to be implemented,
especially in the higher level breeding, or when a new tree or animal is available to be sold.
Currently , I want to sell a Mirage Camel and the maximum I can list it for is 20.6 million. It would possibly sell for 35.
The market is a great feature of this game, so please take away the shackles !!!

Edit: I just tried to list a 00K9 - the most was 12.999 million !! Too Low !!

Do I understand correctly that the last step of the new dog quest "Hydrant How-To" doesn't actually give all harvester functions? Only the harvester, seeder and droid? That would mean that not even the builder is included anymore . Let alone the new introduction: the CR harvester...

  20. Having been a player virtually since the inception, I have played now for over five years. So, I've seen all the incarnations, including some major changes to the appearance of animals, trees and fields, a few of which caused uproar amongst the players. Having been around so long, I also know that a lot of the changes, which caused such angst will eventually be tweaked and often settle into a game feature which is generally accepted.

Farmerama has come a long way with quite number of hiccoughs on the way, but mainly it's kept the interest of many long term players. I have four neighbours, two of whom have been with me almost from the start - so I know I'm not alone in remaining fairly loyal through the good and bad times.

Sometimes it gets a bit samey, but on the whole I am still very fond of my little farm, which has become as much a favourite hobby as anything.

Reading posts on the forums over a number of years, I have realised that it's too easy to think that 'we' - the English speaking global community - on this forum are the only ones BP are listening to. So, it's also easy to think what we write in the 'feedback' forums doesn't matter. Especially when it appears that they have on the whole ignored us and done what they want - when it may have been that our voice is not as loud as some other languages (who may have bigger player bases), such as the French or Germans who perhaps want different things to us and that's heard by BP techs and devs.

That's also true when people write on these forums and think everyone is reading them, when millions of players don't even speak English, let alone those who do and don't read them.

That said the one thing that I do think is universal is the need for more land - another mainland field - yes, Baha and the other island are useful, but mainland field for anyone who's reached 70 or above is a must.

The new Moonlight Mania field is a brilliant innovation. I have started to grow moonlight crops again, but since I already have most of the spooky workshops, deco items etc and they languish untouched (for years) in the inventory. The spooky deco mostly give such low EP that they are only good for cloud items or remain in inventory. The workshops have been superceded by the colours and cute as they are, are not much use unless they could be placed on the Moonlight field (which I know is not really feasible for one day per month).

Baha now has sufficient room, for the few pens / workshops and crops - compared to the mainland, even with constant introduction of new trees and pens (and associated workshops) for both. I was extremely grateful for the introduction of the new field on Baha, which enabled me to grow crops again, which I'd stopped doing, because with land so limited, it's a choice and I prefer to buy what I need for food production.

The craft village, along with the cloud, temple and other areas are interesting and add to the fun, but they would not function without the land to grow things (even for the EP).

The increasingly frequent events which require large numbers of event crops, sometimes more than one, means that if one wishes to do the event, the farm has to be constantly and repeatedly cleared of pens, workshops and trees to place 'extra' fields. Therefore, if - as seems highly likely - the long events with high-event-crop requirement is going to be a permanent feature, could BP open up another mainland field. I don't think it would matter if it was purely for trees or crops, or a general purpose one.

Perhaps like some of the other BP games, one would need to work towards accessing it with particular items and would make it something to aspire to for players who've reached the upper levels.

Which brings me to the final point of 'another mainland field please BP'. Pretty please with Christmas bells and sugar sprinkles.
