Farmers' Market breeds

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to the game and I was curious about the farmers' market, particularly the breeding section. I scrolled through the animals’ listings there and the prices are crazy are those prices real. Do people actually pay that kind of cc for breeds? i mean they must be people buying it since the sellers are putting up the 10 percent. And what are they good for? Are they just collectables? Obviously buying them to finish quests is not it so why are people presumably willing to pay millions of cc for animals?

Yes, the "crazy" prices are real. My farms play the market. Yes, people buy them sometimes if priced correctly and there is a need. Some will buy them for use in events or quests or to build animal pens and/or workshops.

My farms will purchase them for investment. The farms do not want a couple of your coins but ALL OF YOUR COINS.

Without any breeding animal skips, one will need over 50,000 base animals for the highest level animal. Some do not wish to breed to that extent or to spend RL funds on the necessary power feed.

 

I bought a Milkey Cow for that said reason. It takes ages...and so much PF. I unlike any player with the name broke, don't go for CC/Harvest Howdown but for events and quests. 95% of the time I produce the items I need for both. But on some quests I cut corners, and spend down my stash of CC. Sometimes I even sell stuff to afford those (understandable) astronomical prices.

 

I told you the truth and I cannot understand why these farmers like to broke-bash. I produce one or two of my own trash.

This is how it works:

You brought! My farm provides a service and supplies my dear fellow farmers with whatever they may need.

Look, she bought a Milky Cow. See they don't want to produce it themselves. Just gotta have that cow. I just happen to wait until a buyer gets ants in their pants and starts throwing those coins around. They get impatient and will pay anything for what they want. They're nuts I mean they're stashing coins. They're loaded with coins. I'm broke and need a couple of coins is all.

Oh yeah, the prices are real.

If you keep watch for the item you want, there's always a buyer that want a quick tunraround than max price, those are the sellers I buy from. Doesn't include the Broke family, they all know how to price their items so they can max out their profit.

 

Learning more and more every day

 

If you really want to learn something then be a participant in The farmer_broke Event. But if you want to stay in the ranks of the massive number of Aluminum farmers, like Moraine, then help yourself. The REAL farmers are in the Event.

We don't tinker around with crying wannabe farmers. All we want to from them is:

They are always crying about something. Notice how every single day there is always some sort of snide broke-bashing with this bunch.

The Broke family of farms maximizes its profit because of a single logical action: The farms add what is called an "aggravation fee" just to deal with this bunch. Sometimes the family does not even sell anymore. cry cry cry cry cry .... sick of hearing it

All I want to hear is:

Moraine, I hope you do not mind ..... but if you do it's too bad

I am going to name my favorite cow on the farmer_broke farm: Moraine.

Whatsoever the case maybe, the farmer_broke farm has two animals which need appropriate names. (They are priceless.) I have been thinking about you and I would like to give you the choice: the favorite pig or the favorite fish.

I don't work it very hard there, plenty of time for hard work. At the moment I'm just studying and runny some test; hiding out on the Island trying to stay as far away from the mainland as I can.
I try to remember to give my Mentor 12s "Love" every day and use up those couple of free gifts we are allotted per day.

I'm smiling. You are remarkable to even be trying that Event. Just click click click click is definitely not the answer as some have already found out. This time off from that farm can really be quite useful or one can waste it. I plan to determine where I am on all the farms. If one wishes to reach the very top then one must be prepared to take two large ep hits: The first is the stalk and the second is completing the entire shipwreck bay quests.

At this time if your farm is in any danger of not being able to take those two ep hits then ..... simply stop and begin a new farm if you wish.

Depending upon how one does this Event, the individual should expect the BAHA level of there farm to be 3.5 to 4 times their farm level.

I'm smiling too. ... ... It does seem the fools earn... ... BUT even a fool can learn and it's something to do that is laid back and I don't have to worry about "Oh my I have to come back in 2.45 hours and harvest if I want to complete this event before it's over in 3..."

LOL I was thinking about those exact things while trying to get BaHa open. You are sooo right about that. Hopefully, if all goes well near the end of the year I will still be able to take those hits. Only time will tell.

 

There are very few times where one actually should hurry back to the farm and harvest while working The farmer_broke Event.

• There are a few timed quests one may wish to complete ....Time pressure
• Very rarely there is a game event which involves Baha and there is no cost involved with working that event ... Time pressure
• Anyone using the Baby Boom event to breed Baha animals has the ending time to consider ... Time pressure
• One puts time pressure on themselves when attempting to "get that last harvest complete" before a game-wide event begins and they know that it is costly to harvest during that event

Other than the above I have found no worry with time. I now find working that event to be so laid back that I even look forward to the day I can harvest again. (WOW ... unimaginable for me)

One may haphazardly begin breeding and/or donating breeding animals to events and have no understanding of what is taking place. Many simply want to fill that breeding motel up with animals and go on. Sure, that is often done and it is very very very inefficient. One who takes this action is simply hoping to be correctly playing the law of averages. I was guilty of doing this also for a short period of time and openly admit it.

Breeding animals are logically increasing in price. Still, purchasing with little concern is just that .... "I bought" See:

Breeding animals and how they are obtained and sold and donated is a separate part of the game. Most dismiss it as simple and breeding is hardly that. There exists a very few accurate and many inaccurate posts regarding breeding. Most are simply partial results of a breeding activity.

I have personally never attempted to share what I have learned about breeding in this game. I hope to share one day or take one on who thinks they know. Unless one has some idea of what they are doing when breeding then breeding is a worthless and loosing proposition. Many enjoy breeding and the standard "as long as one enjoys the game" applies and also ........ there is an efficient and knowledgeable way to breed in this game.

Power feed, whether purchased or milled, even has a value. That cost flows all the way through the breeding activity to each finished animal!

 

I have to disagree. Those of us who play this game "the wrong way - the less clever way" seem to provide you with at least some entertainment. Surely that is worth something.
