    Hey ya'll!
This is the place to make comments about the farmers market - particularly things you might think are not always noticed by others. If you have seen something weird about how the market works - or if you know some sly ways to make good money on the market then share, share, SHARE! Comment as business-savvy peeps that apply their skills to the game! Reply to share your personal successes in selling at the market. If you are an experienced Farmer - I would love to hear some tips 'n tricks you have acquired in your experience!

    Be creative!

    The first post yay!
I just want to say...it's obvious that events would alter the CC flow of the market, but I didn't actually think about it much until this recent event! I make a lot of my money selling animals - however for the Czech Roots event, I spent all my time growing event plants (gotta get BAHA EP for my new baby right?) Guess what? So was almost everyone else! In just a few days of time in the event - not only did the price of goats raise exponentially because it was a required animal for the event, but the price of almost all the animals spiked to ridiculous highs! (woo woo market 10)

By the end of the event I realized that if I had stuck to selling normal crops and animals I could have made a huge fortune. This time though I really wanted some of the event prizes. It's just cool that even though this is a virtual market - supply and demand drastically changed the money flow. Not as many people were growing crops and animals - supply down - but the demand was the same! Who wants to pay 1500cc for a pig?!? No one! But I would sure love to sell a few hundred at that price!

To add to this thought, now that the event is over it seems that prices have almost dropped to way below market average. Most products have balanced out by now, but a few are way lower. For example - manure on market 10 sells average for 90-120ish.
Right now, directly after the event, I have seen HUNDREDS listed at under 40cc/unit!

What quirky things do you notice about the market and how it works?
