Farmwheel Strategy... What is yours ?

I would have liked to have asked this on the Farm Wheel Wins thread but did not want to hijack that thread.

What is your Farmwheel Strategy ?

Do you wait for Singing Flowers, Pink Pens, higher level animals to appear ?
Do you save them and use in 2-5 spins at a time ?
Or do you say, let's get this over with... or say "I hope, I hope, I hope" ?

Sound off, I'd like to hear how some of you are successful as you are !

 

On regular spins, I just spin and hope for the best. I mostly get EP or CCs. On the party spins, I wait for the flowers to show up. I haven't gotten it yet on this farm, I have once on my little farm.

With the free spins I save them until there are at least two things I really want. Usually two breeding animals, or one breeding animal + one orange stable/rare stable. This usually works out fine with the number of spins. But it has happened that I have had to spin just because I have reached the limit, or a few times I have had no spins left when I have wanted to spin. But mostly it works fine.

I only use a party spin if there is something I really want, like one of the singing flowers, a pink pen or at least four very good things. I try to mostly use party spins I have won in events etc. But after I won the pink ostrich egg farm I have been tempted to buy some as well. Without much to show for it No flowers yet

 

If there is mandrake on the wheel I don't spin. Otherwise... I spin.

 

I have 17 Party Spins saved because the so-called-flowers never appear on my Wheel.
Otherwise I do spin my regular ones because the system is so flawed, biased and discriminatory. I can only save two days worth of regular spins yet non-premium players can save five days worth. I once asked for a review of this anomaly, but who cares...

 

I don't spin if there is 1 Turbo Mulch on the wheel (unless I have to use a spin). I'm pretty much guaranteed to get it if I do.
I look at the worst things on the spin to determine if I will take a chance. If I can live with the worst, I'll spin and hope for the best.

Party spins, currently I wait for a flower at the top of the wheel although there are a couple of other items I might spin for depending on how many spins I currently have. Again, I look at the worst stuff to see how bad it could be.

 

yesterday on my little farm (level 85) I got the cookware Forge I up grade, and on that farm i just spin the wheel to use up turns. On my main farm i hope to get a good item and some times i do like the orange upgrades, but mostly EP, CC, mandrake, salt (i don't even have the bakery open yet).

 

Like most people I only do Party Spins if the flowers appear - consequently I have several spins, which I have won in events, waiting to be used and no flowers.

On the ordinary wheel, it will depend on time. If I have reached my limit I do a couple of spins regardless and hope to get something good. Otherwise I see what is on offer. I don't want most Artisan Products, any sort of Catalpa tree and lowly pens, so will save spin for later when the options change. I have never won a high pen but have a couple of good breeding animals. Still it is free so anything is good.

 

On the normal spin I just go for it unless there are free spins because, lets be honest, what's the point? On party spins I only spin if there's a flower and only if there's no workshop as a prize - I can build one myself and all that.

 

They've been asked to rename "free spins" to "spin again". I consider them a complete waste of my time. Unless I actually win a "free spin" which would mean 2 instead of 1.

For free spin.
When I frist login the day, I go to the wheel to see prize, If it had something attactive.
1)2 or more breed animals (Or a very high lv breed animal like golden donkey!)
2)no mulch offer,
3)more than 1 spot had PF,
I will spin immed. But if the wheel got 2 mulch offer, I usual wait for next renew.(7 hr later)
something, I forget the wheel & let the spin save up.
However, if the daily spin limted is got full (5 spin). The daily login will remind you for that.
Then I will at least spin it once before next day's login, otherwise, I will lose the daily free spin.
For party spin.
Oh, I almost forget about it as hardly spin it. I just check & I save up 20
Maybe It's time to check it to see if I got some nice prize on wheel

 

Think my strategy is a mixture of everyone else's. I will use the daily spin if there are two or more breeding animals on the Farmwheel, or just one breeding animal if it is a particularly high level. Other than that, I save them until I have to use one when I have reached the limit.

I only use Party Spins if I see a flower - I have won the Singing Tulip on my other farm. I think I have seen them all on both farms but as yet, no luck. One day ...

 

I have no strategy for the normal spins! LOL I spin each day! Must be the kid in me. The party spins are a different story...if I see a flower or pink upgrade (only once) I will spin. I, like everyone else, have gotten a mixture of EP, CC, artisan crafting supplies (yes even for the alchemist which I don't have open), some products, tree upgrades and sometimes an animal upgrade. My 2nd farm got an orange pig once. While some of it may be disappointing, overall, I like it. Almost everything can (or someday will) benefit my farm and cost me nothing.

 

Sometimes I will save until I see something I really want. Usually if it's a fairly dud wheel with not much of exceptional use I'll just skip and wait for the next option. Other times I'll just spin and hope for the best.

How do you get party spins?

 

You can purchase party spins in the supply store for 8 BBs each (service item second page). Sometimes they are offered at a discount price in a mini event. Sometimes they are awarded in events.

 

I just spin - hence my plethora of egg farms. Think I need to change my strategy!

 

I had Three Farm Spins This Morning, I always check to see what i can win with my Farm Wheel Spin...The Best Prize I could Win in Golden Donkey.....Guess What I Won a Golden Donkey so Please With myself as I Never Win Such a Huge Prize on a Farmerama Wheel not for very long time...I think I Won 100% Harvest and 100% EP for 24 Hours not won anything Big for last couple of years. Which you can not longer get on the Wheel.

I Always Check The Prize list to see that i have a good list of Good Prizes to Win, some days that list is not good so i hold onto my Farm Wheel Spin into the next day hoping to win a better Prize

I have 140 Golden Ticket Wheel Spin... I use to save these spin when we have farm wheel Mini Event to Win Better Prizes only when that Mini Farm Wheel Event is running, I use these spins to hope to win better prizes....But Since they have brought in the New Party Spin, all the Better Prizes go to Party Wheel Spin

But Since The Donkey Breeding Event Started, you are able to Win a Golden Donkey, From a Normal Wheel Spin. Which I just Did this Morning

I Prefer to Win Breeding Animals, Power Feeds or Super Grow or Very Rare Item Still need to think over what to do with 140 Golden Spin Tickets
