Fascination Coral Reef, strategy.

Yeah - every now and then those crates pay off big time. Between the two farms, I've gotten some pretty decent amounts of EP, CC and FC. The farm wheel jackpot giver that gives out the CC crates makes quick work of accumulating those - I, too, wait until I have at least 20 of them before I open them. And then...SHOPPING SPREE!

 

i got 255 drops on this farm on my initial harvest but I didn't fare so well on my other 3 farms and whats really weird is on my flwr farm I had exactly the same things planted the saguaro and on the other 2 farms I had honeydew melon planted

 

Well.....I am the idiot. I didn't wait...I just clicked and pulled my hair right afterLost out on the +1 harvest bounsI was just so excited to farm(my job gets in the way you know) Hopefully a lesson learned

Got The Octopus Pen, completed right side first I am ahead of schedule of event crops just one or to more rounds then I am upping my ante to maximise the remains drops needed

 

One of my farms got +100% crops for 24h. It completed the right side and is working the left side now, waiting for drops. Other two farms are around 70/75 on right side, waiting for crops. That's a good pace since the event is only about 2/3 over.

Really should stop trying to multitask...

 

You scared me for a second there the event is fortunately only a little more than 1/3 in. I'm only at 46/75 on the right and 0/75 on the left. Only growing crops on two fields...

 

Good grief!! I did it again. Read through all the posts and made notes here and there. I was thinking 20,775 crops and 810 drops sound kind of low for all these steps. So after kind of getting my head wrapped around the other event, I focused more on this and the totals It is 27,330 crops and 1,100 drops to complete entire event Since it is possible to win an Octopus from a stable, I'm leaning more towards the 2 Humming birds. I did win the 100% for 24 hrs so that was a big boost Good luck to all in both these adventures

 

This Huge amount of event crops is now officially a snoozer for me! I know we have 3.5 days left....but yawn....I'm already bored with growing the same thing over & over & over!

Oh no 007 farming I shouldnt laugh but its easily done though

just waiting on next harvest for octopus pen then will do what I can on left side although them GB are always welcome but need to complete most of left side to get them all...we will see. I will have my goal of getting pen rest is a bonus apart from GB

I was lucky enough to get the 100% harvest for 24 hours on the wheel while trying to get the Train Ride" so am done with the right side and at 38/75 on the left side. I would be sweating it otherwise as it was slow going.

 

my strategy for both events is grow and deliver I am finding both events slow going and one is confusing as well!

 

I start to worry. I've been on CAC on 1*1 fields and farm workers for 48 hours straight after an initial plant-multiplying. I have a complete Crystal Fall. Yet I'm at step 57 on the octopus side and somewhere veryearly on the hummingbird side. Yes I admit I screwed a little bit up that +1 bonus (had to start it sooner than the plants grew properly, and when it was harvesting time I was already asleep after a long workday) but I shouldn't be faring better at this point?

 

I'm stuck at java apples, don't have enough GBs to open them.

 

You might want to pay 5 BB to complete the task (use the blue -pay with BB-button)

Any regular tasks cost 5 BB

Event plant, pearl and blue pearl tasks cost a lot more, not worth paying for imho.

 

That's in the same region as I was when you posted that. Except I 've done nothing on the hummingbird side.
I sometimes get a "omg everybody is finished, and I'm way behind"- feeling. I had a huge mess up and down time early on. As I'm not going for the hummingbirds but my dear Otto Octopus(I'm coming for ya, I'll save you, Otto!), I think I'm in for a very good chance of accomplishing just that.

The thing about the the lower left side, it doesn't require as much as the top half of the right side. <- Light at the end of the tunnel.

Good drop rat rain to us all (even if you don't do events they provide you with a little bit of TEP & CC)

 

I am at step 55 on left side, keep running out of event crop. I did get the sticker on the right.
The drop rat is really putting out those pearls on this event. I am going to just grow event crop from now on.

 

I have been able to finish these types of events in the past and now I have the additional Crystal Falls open. I am not even halfway through on one side and haven't started on the other side. I did have a late start because they were putting in new power meters (5 hrs w/o electricity) but I still think I should be further along then I am.

Maybe this one is rated higher than the others were.

Hopefully I will get a harvest bonus to help out.
