Thank you so much for your fast answer.
It takes a while for me to get used to changes.

Finally, Farmerama's Forum got the well deserved upgrade! It looks awesome! So much easier to use, a lot of helpful features and a brand new start for some old time users :) I hope you don't mind a little QA time: the Trophies description resources are not localized (translated). Thanks!

    Hello SylvanasW, :)

Thank you for your feedback, and for pointing out the trophies missing texts issue - this matter has been forwarded to the team but we are not sure yet if there will be a description or this bit will be removed, since other language communities seem to be experiencing the same issue.
I wish you lots of fun on the new Farmerama Forum!

It is so sad that, your old post and the amount of time you posted, does not get transfered over from the old forum:oops::cry:. So basically we are starting from scratch again.:(

Have a Godblessed Week one and all:music::p

After a bit has gone by, I noticed that there is no difference on the calendar feature between what is passed and what is current or to come. It is also difficult to tell what the date is currently on the calendar. A different color highlight for the current date, and something to show that an event has passed that is on the calendar, just not sure how. Darker highlight around it or something maybe. Just some observations now that some things are on the calendar and some time has passed.

    Hello baw815,

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions - we will forward them to the Team. We are still waiting for important updates from the team in charge with the forum, so there still is work in progress, I will have to ask you for a little bit more patience, we haven't been told yes or no yet. :) There is a difference between the dates, if you check out the calendar closely - the small date box has a different background colour and the events are highlighted in green:

We could also consider deleting past events but it would be a shame removing them from the calendar, it would give a nice overview of the past events and mini events, easier to see what happened, and when.

Yes, please keep it there! It will be much more convenient to check that in the calendar than to look in the official announcements :)

Thumbs up for the Watched Forums and Threads options, that allow us to filter out useless posts made by some of the board users. It's a personal opinion, some of them are just too "spamy" for my taste and I am not interested in reading that. Well, at least now I have a choice to filter out the nonsense and read only the important and useful threads. Thanks.

After using this new forum for a few weeks....I am really enjoying the "Alerts"! It's useful and fun to see if someone "liked" your comment or responded to threads you are interested in!!!;)

The other GREAT benefit of the new forum is that it saves drafts of your posts while you're typing!!! I'm a clumsy typist and often hit the wrong button....I just discovered....when you hit the back button and then return to the thread you were posting in....it saves your draft!!! I don't know how many times in the previous forum...I accidently deleted a whole post or a portion of it :wuerg:(usually trying to highlight). This is a lifesaver!!! :D:inlove:

This comment regards the survey and general Farmerama direction, but I would like to see a separate thread opened up on that topic, since this one is too wide-ranging for real discussion on that.

Anyway, my concern is that the questions were set up by people who likely have general marketing skills, general knowledge, but not necessarily who play farmerama specifically.

A lot of the questions, for example, ask about "excitement". The truth is that farmerama is a very enjoyable game, but I would not call it "exciting." And, I DO NOT WANT IT TO BE! Let me clarify. There are plenty of other games that are very fast-paced. Go to any of the major gaming sites and you find all kinds of "time management" games. You have to finish specific tasks in a short amount of time, each step getting more and more complex. I like those games, play some... but then come here for relaxation and enjoyment. I play those other games, but am much more likely to actually buy or spend money on more long-term, "let's see what happens" kind of games. After a while the time management stuff gets rather old and its nice to have an outlet that is much more free-form, allows more individuality and, above all, that I can set aside for a time (as real life takes over) and come back to when I wish. I enjoy log in bonuses and such, but dislike games that basically require me to check in every day to just keep up. I really like the vacation feature. The one time I spent money here, it was to buy a vacation, before I had completed the vacation medallion on the magic tree.

Also, when talking about "value for money"... again, its the wrong tack. I look at "value" when I a spending large amounts of money. I realize that there are people out there who have no problem plopping down $20-$30 at a pop (the cost of several recent "bonus packs"). I am not one. I would put it this way -- anything over about $5.00 (better yet $3.00) is going to be "noticeable" in my budget. I think about where that money goes. I think MUCH less about lower amounts. That is, I still track it, but my standards for if its OK to spend are much less. Ask for $20 and you are competing with a dinner out or a movie, maybe even something "real" (which could be a video game...lol) for my kids. Ask me for $3 and you are competing with an ice cream at lunch, a raffle ticket or a couple of candy bars. In other words, its "junk" money and I don't mind so much wasting it on a game for myself, because its money I have allotted for "junk". Larger amounts are allotted for what I call "real" purchases. I am not saying to do away completely with the larger packs, just that a lot of smaller purchases add up, AND, well.... people are more likely to stay with, (feel "vested" in) a game in which they have spent small amounts of money. (larger amounts can work the same way to a point, but they can also be threatening)

Further to my earlier comments - after several weeks using the new forum, I am a complete convert. It is much more user friendly and the new features of calendar and alerts are really good. So a thumbs up all round from me ! :D:D:D

I think it's just a matter of getting used to it, even if the layout is a bit different it is basically the same.....the only negative on my behalf is that levels or achievements from the old forum were not transferred to the new forum....

I don't know where else to post this, but I want to really and truly thank you for the most recent poll series (at least in the US available movies).

Specifically, I mean the series of health-related questions. I urge EVERYONE who can to take these quizes, even if you are well informed on health issues. We all need reminders about diabetes, MS is indeed a pervasive problem hitting particularly younger individuals, etc.

BP-- if you possibly can, please make something like this available to all users, as a public service. (perhaps it would have to be something of your construction and not in the movie theatre?).

    Again, THANK YOU!!!!
