So that's why scented candle and glowworm prices sky-rocket.
As glowberry grows on the entire main farm and on the Bahamain field, I suppose the manure will sell reasonably well, too. Unless too many people will think the way I do and keep raising arthropodes and other coldbloods on their farm for the market, in which case there will be plenty of manure and few customers who choose to play this event.

To get the cloudrow you need to activate all lanterns so there won't be anyone with a row but without an item. That means no trading the decors. (Maybe except for a few collectors who want a second Pinwheel Fun. That just looks cute.)

I am concern about Farmers not going to be able to complete this Event. Which is needed to do Combo 14 to unlock the Cloud Row.

I am one of those farmers who not got 30 Scented Candles, Nor got any Scented Candles Workshops. How can i get an Scented Candle Workshop as i cannot get any Scented Candles in my market. As Scented Candles are very rare to see any in the markets.>:(

Some quick farmers already bought up the stock. And possible sellers are still at work and will maybe come online in a few hours. The candles will cost cc but will be available I think.

You just convinced me to go for the fangbrush factory in the other event. Thank you.

To grow the needed plants you need to plant the event crop on 1*1 everywhere and harvest with carrot chutney. Also if you don't wish to go mad with the 1*1 cultivation you need helpers. (Tip: you can buy cow milk and goat milk and honey and sometimes eggs at the market for quite cheap. Go to the Society quests, the tenth challenge for each of these products gives you Helpers for 1-2 days. Use them wisely.)

How can this be a medium event and from level 3. which lvl 3 player is going to have scented candle workshop or the cc's to purchase them if there are any in market, to actually fully complete this event. Im at level 88 and its Impossible for me to complete.

Also 2 events at the same time that more or less require the use of all fields to grow crops and animals to use in both events.

So overall to me this is a very badly thought out strategy from BP to have 2 events at same time.

One thing most of us have learnt is that BP dont listen to the customers that use their hard earned cash to play this game thus ensuring you have a job, as its been said before in feedback not to have 2 events at same time and to grade each event as to the possibility of everyone completing it.

This is VERY well thought through by BP, as only this way they can insure, that people spend money!

For me, firefly event is also VERY hard, as I don't have the candle shop. OK I was able to get some in the market, but for what price? Ridicoulous. And I am in level 95 now. How shall a level 3 player obtain these or the butterflies or even the dragon fruit, when they don't have baha open at level 3?

Sorry BP but no money spending, no jobs.. That's it with this kind of strategy you are shooting yourself into the knee and people will walk away.

I won't participate in this one -- I can't. Not sure why it says it's playable from level 3. I wouldn't be able to get past level 1.

I don't have butterflies, dragon fruit, scented candles, or glow worms -- nor do I have the ccs to purchase all of it. And I'm level 75. BP needs to rate these events accordingly. It seems 'medium' is just slapped on every event without any thought behind it.

Using this time to catch up on other things. Good luck to those who are playing.

If you notice, all event crops are available at level 3. This allows new players to get a taste of events but no one should expect a level 3 player can finish any event. They only have chickens, apples, and carrots is their longest crop. The FAQ says level 3 can participate and they can do some of the steps and get some of the rewards. Remember level 3 only has the main field open, unable to purchase buffs, and no trophies. It does give a player a glimpse of how things are and a long term goal to work towards. Planting the event crop levels them up very fast (too fast in my humble opinion because you reach mid levels quickly without having any stock of crops, fruit, animals, products...). Any event that a lower level player can finish will mean that mid and upper level players will be finished in a blink of an eye.

Good luck to those working the event and for those who are not, enjoy your farms.:)

Yes, but without glow worms, they can't get past level 1. So pretty much can't go anywhere in this one. ;)

The lanterns do not have to be opened in consecutive order. You can do any of them at any time to make a bingo or just because you like that lantern's rewards or based on what you have available to donate. I concede that a young farm will have big trouble trying to grow a lot of crops with only one field and no buffs, but with the EP, they won't stay low level for long. Farmers are not stuck only on level 1 if they don't have glowworms. :)

True, pups, the EP is certainly of value. That's how I leveled up quickly as a young farm. I didn't do events, but always planted the event crops -- since I had nothing that even came close to the EP on those (plus cashed in on the return after the event). :)

I'm not complaining -- quite happy for the break, to be honest. I just think they need to change the way they rate their events. Since I've started, every one of them have been 'medium' -- yet I've found a huge difference in the degree of difficulty/level of requirements for each one.

I too will not be participating no candles, I already wasted time and CAC and sg my bad should have read the requirements more carefully this has not happened to me in the past so I guess unless you spend a lot of real $$$ your out in the cold

Glowworms are required in Space 2 - you can complete 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 11 bingos without them.
    Scented Candles are required in Space 7 - you can complete 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 without them.
So if you have neither you should still be able to complete Bingos 2, 3, 4 and 11. Bingo 11 has the Chromium Stable which you can get the Giraffe, Crocodile or Axolotl.

Thank you, nlm24. Pups pointed that out too, which I didn't realize when I first looked at the FAQ. :)

    With that said...

I'm rather enjoying a little relaxation on my farm at the moment. I'm cheering you all on, though. *shakes pom-poms*

I enjoy the Bingo style events. I don't have a problem with requiring things that not everyone might have - but the numbers are too high! Yes, long term players either have enough, or the CCs to purchase them. And I realize that newer players shouldn't expect to complete every event. I didn't complete an event for close to a year, but the game was very different when I started. Personally I like the fact that this game has a huge market component to it. It's one reason this is the game that has held my interest while others have come and gone. But it shouldn't be a requirement to be a Wall Street Mogul just to play this game. It's supposed to be a GAME which implies there is at least a sense of recreation and fun involved, and for many, the steady events limit the ability to build up stocks. Once again I will point out, those in charge of this game seem to have a serious problem with understanding the concept of basic economics - if you provide something that people want to have, they will find the funds to obtain it. But if you try to force the purse strings open, people just walk away, and you end up with much less than you could have had, not more. One by one, the things that make this game fun are being taken away - the business model needs a serious overhaul. I used to spend much more than I do now. I will not quit this game - at this point it is my hobby, not a game, and as such I do invest a little money each month that makes it more fun for me to play. But I will not be railroaded into spending money just to remain competative. Almost no players are left that have been here as long as I have been playing, and new people come and go with far too much regularity. I like the events - but I wish there was a better pattern to them and a built in time period for regular farming.

I enjoyed this event! I did have to use CC's NOT real money to purchase those Scented Candles but for me that is what those CC's are for!:p Anyway, Thank you BP for giving the drops we needed in a strong and steady rate! And being able to use 2 Baha lands and 3 Main lands for me made all the difference in getting those 18,000 crops needed!

This is the main problem for newer players (I'm level 75 and still consider myself new). You can't complete events without having the trophies for good drops, gaining stars to get tree runes, larger manure tanks (I don't have 1 mil to spend on manure per event), build up of stock to work the confectionery, etc. for buffs, and so on. Even if you decide to take part in events to only go as far as you can (and not complete it), there is then no time to build up stocks to obtain goals for things that will help you progress further in future events.

The events are tempting too -- because you can win things you need to progress, but the requirements are high. I do wish there were larger breaks between events. The one thing I'm discovering I don't like about this game is the constant pulling of stables, etc., for events -- then putting them all back again. It seems there's only a day or two, and you're pulling them all again (after only getting a very minimal stock). It's a constant deletion/set-up of your farm - a revolving door with no time for actual farming.

It makes it very difficult to finish any FSQs (for needed stars) if you don't have the requirements -- unless you want to buy it all in the market (but then you need stock to sell for the ccs to get those). Too many stables, workshops, trees for the amount of land we have available. Give us more land, not more animals, trees, etc.

In a nutshell: Larger breaks between events (let us catch our breath), and more land (not more animals, trees, etc.).

    matselleste's post hit it perfectly.

ETA: I understand events are probably your biggest money-maker, but slow down -- you may end up with more players in the long run.

I didn't know if I would be able to finish this event because of the requirement for Scented Candles (amount and high price in market). There were quite a few players at the beginning saying they weren't going to participate because of this so I also didn't know if I could sell manure to purchase them during the event.

There were some rows that did not need them so I decided to try it. I was able to finish the event by purchasing them 1 or 2 at a time until I obtained the 30 needed and there is still time left.

I think it would be a good idea to increase the number of combinations available to make a Bingo. Doing this might increase interest. It would also make it worth trying to do the event when you don't think that you can finish it. There are a lot of players who don't want to spend the time, money, etc. to attempt an event only to fail because of something beyond there control (drop rate, market, etc.). I reviewed all of the Bingo combinations to see if I could get anything I wanted because I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it or build inventory. I decided to do it because of the Chromium Stable. The Scented Candles were very high priced and the market needed to be checked constantly to see if there were any available--at the beginning of the event the market always showed -0- available for sale.

In the explanation below there is a possibility of 6 more Bingo combinations.

    Examples:
    Bingo 1 & 2: 4 different Bingo possibilities (you used 2)
    Bingo 3 & 4: 4 different Bingo possibilities (you used 2)
    Bingo 5 & 6: 4 different Bingo possibilities (you used 2)
    Bingo 7: 1 possibility (you used 1)
Bingo 8-11: 4 different Bingo possibilities (you used 4)
    Bingo 12: 1 possibility (you used 1)
    Bingo 13: 1 possibility (you used 1)
    Bingo 14: 1 possibility (you used 1)

you could also add some new ones:
    corners (total of 4):
    XX__ __XX ____ ____
    X___ ___X ____ ____
    ____ ____ X___ ___X
    ____ ____ XX__ __XX

    4 corners (total of 1):
    X__X
    ____
    ____
    X__X

    center square (total of 1):
    ____
    _XX_
    _XX_
    ____

Boy oh boy how I know that!!!! It happened just that way for me. I'm level 83 now and sometimes I still find I'm in need of things from near the start. If it were not for Gift and Trade I don't know what some of us would do. Really, I know I don't know.
I think the worst of it is your in need of ways to make money CCs. After a little bit, they can come pretty easy.
