Feedback Firefly Festival - Fall Edition

I liked this event but that is probably because I had everything required and I only needed to grow the crops and get the drops. The drops were pretty good too, I have an extra 300+ - but I'm not complaining.

I did also appreciate the Rainforest being available to plant event crops after all. Made the event a little less stressful for me. This is not my usual way of doing events but as we have had so many events lately that included milling, I am changing to growing crops for a while so I can build up my animal feed a bit. I really do not like that we have to mill products for events ... it messes up an already inadequate supply of animal feed.

Also, on the negative side, I would have been very unhappy to have been one of those who didn't have the Candles - bit harsh to include them and 30 of them is pretty tough to get especially if you are lower level player.

But these things aside, the prizes were okay and at least we were not obliged to light up all the lanterns, we could take our pick of the prizes we wanted and maybe even just get the CR and EP items if we wanted so not needing to grow all the crops and get all the drops.

 

Too much going on so did only small amount of this event. Mostly went for the CC prizes. Didn't get to Renzo. Did do the Wild about Animals. Didn't get to renew my Mill Subscription. At this point, I'll never catch up so why try? Pick a Tool? What else did I miss?

 

This was a good event, as usual, apart from the scented candles requirement. There was no way to grow them in the time available since only 1 workshop per player, maximum, exists. You could buy them at times - I worked out it would cost over 10 million CCs on my market to buy them all.

 

BP Nice event... My first one... I have to say though i didn't see it coming to needing 30 scented candles... I think 15 should've been the max on that... I understand you had to have it included in the event... but 30 with no warning for a lot of players when it was hardly in market to begin with was rough. And yes even though a lot of us did NOT have the scented workshop... even if we did have one we still could NOT make them in time....

Don't get me wrong, I like to see other things needed in events.(not just low level stuff).. as some of us need to make CC's. Just can you not ask a lot of them higher level items..as some of us don't have the coins nor the means to make such items in a very short time. asking a lot of low level items will be great in my book and for many others I am sure..

For the new workshops we have just got off the breeding event... I do hope you have quests for them way before you will use them items in events... As some didn't get them...Maybe when prices drop they can start buying... least till you offer them again to us. Which i am sure you will before you ask for them in events.

I have four farms and completed breeding event and all but the candle square on firefly on all four farms. Price was too high for purchase of candles and I don't like to complete things that way. Doesn't feel much like an accomplishment. Each farm is at 98 so I have been playing for years and spend real money occasionally. I feel that we should be able to produce the amount of items required for an event with a little work and maybe sg or powerfeed. Started that for candles and realized still couldn't make it. Well I won't be caught with my overalls down next time. I have all production stalls out and working to make what I can before next event. I understand farmers wanting to make money in market, I personally don't use it much. But price of candles went way to high. What happened to trying to help smaller farmers make it thru a event. We complain about BP wanting real money and yet here we use the market to make fake money just the same way. Okay will get off soap box and sorry if I offended anyone. Not my intention just figure we can't have it both ways. I like the prizes but don't really like this event as seems it is always one I can't complete.

BUT all and all it was a nice event, even if I could not finish it for lack of candles.

So I'm thinking like others the amount of special products should/could have been lower.
