This is my first strategy thread i made. so if any errors or if i left anything out please forgive me... I do think I have most if not all covered here.. least I can only hope right?

Thanks a heap for crunching the numbers for us Jazac!

Just checked my market for scented candles. Nary a one. Pity that.

 

The scented candles pop up once in a while (or at least they do at my marked), but you must be fast and persistent to get them.

 

Most combinations need #7 Scented Candles to complete but there are a few that you can get without it -- PF, GB, FC and a couple EPs (maybe could trade at G&T if you don't do entire thing).

No Scented Candles, and most HHC and CAC was used for previous events.

Just wondering with all the other workshops to choose from why Scented Candles was picked. It is relatively new and was hard to get for some of us. There are some that have been around for a while that we haven't used in an event. This event is also using Arthropods that we might need to donate to meet the requirements in the Wild About Animals breeding event.

I have 3 farms and only 1 was able to get the Scented Candles. I listed 10 offers that sold out in seconds.

As much as i would like to repeat steps... for extra items... I sure hope its not required to complete.... Other wise my Strategy is off..lol And me getting more SCENTED CANDLES will be out of the picture... I have goofed before i went to bed and did NOT looked at the FAQ enough and just bought some items up thinking they will be needed... NOPE... so least I have them for later...lol

Yes its like that or least was when I still needed to buy some on my market... them scented candles can be hard for some to catch...

If I need to edit the thread I will.. Soon as I get the information it will be updated ASAP. I am hoping it will be all we need to know and have to do and complete the event... Till it goes live I guess we will have to wait and see. This is also my first firefly event. So I guess it goes with the first strategy thread i made too huh?...lol

 

Add another zero to that. We need 18,000 glowberries.

It seems, in my market anyway, that scented candles have leveled off at 69K. But once event has begun, I'm sure they will go even farther up.

I'm skipping this one. I have some real life things going on and will spend these days working on other areas of farming as fits my schedule. I have all items (butterflies, glowworms and candles) but just can't face another high crop requirement event. I'm still working on axe throwing for those extra items in the shop. Good luck to all who go for it!

 

Maybe a silly question - What animal workshop makes scented candles?
None in my market

I thought I would go one step closer on the math for all of you doing this event... since I was wondering myself here it is.. This is the totals of the EP's, TEP's and CC's we get on all 16 steps.

158,600 TEP's
891,500 EP's
1,212,200 CC's

 

Nice amounts but you can probably make twice that much selling 30 Scented Candles if you have any.

 

The Scented Candle is now selling for 137,000 CC in my market. I was luck to snap them up at cheaper price. I do have Scented Candle workshop, which needs 1 Skunk and 1 Skunk Feed to Make.

The Scented Candle can only be Acquired from Going Wild Event, Back in January 2017. I did not think it was worth bothering to make Scented Candle, as there was hardly any demand for them. It was certain push up prices of skunks. Also 30 Butterflies are needed too.

I think i will have a slow start to Growing Glowberries. Just using Baha Field. Why, as we have Wild about Animals Event Too to work on. But anyone who into making CC, such as myself I will be Growing Frogs, Chameleons, Skunks, Butterflies maybe Bees in the Three Mainfields

I need to point out: If you do Combo 1 from Firefly Event. You can gain 5 Amphibian Badges, that saves you 10 Power Feeds for Breeding Chameleons

This Firefly Event is becoming a bit boring, I think it is the 4th Time, we had this kind of event. I am now not liking this event at all. Reason being it does not give good prizes compared to other Events

But 2 events at same time and this one requiring drops, so guess who has not set up farm to maximise drops on intial harvest.
Ah well didnt understand event last time and with requiring a product most of us dont pocess it obviously is not high on my priorities. so will look at rewards that are usefull to me

Mind made up - it's time for an event pause. I will not be doing this event and I'm now selling my scented candles. Have fun all of you who are doing the event

 

I'm not wild of excitement over this event. thanks for the starter and the numbers Jazac. even thanks to Brooke for bursting the bubble with nothing I'll be away for a couple of days as well. Driving. Can't drive and farm. But I'll see what can be done no matter. I have the scented factory. Never used it. That's probably why thy asked for candles, no one wants them, no one makes them. Put the event in the same time where there's other stables /workshops that are likely not to be needed or used.. create a feeling of need, in theory we should all work hard, buy pf and do the breeding event. I took hook, line, sinker and a nibble of the boat as well.
They better not mess up my BBD this weekend!
