flash player acting funky

I had, and am still having a problem with my flash player. I went to a pet store game and it said I needed to enable /update my flash player and I clicked on the enable/disable button several times but I still got the same message but I can get on farmerama fine. i'm borderline paranoid about viruses if I mess up something, should I just call the local computer guy and have him install an update? I don't know if this is the right forum, if not sorry, but the flash player was working fine this morning.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies and especially clearing the Flash cache to see if that helps improve the Game?

I tried both but nothing. I actually have the same internet, windows 8, and have never updated manually even though pop ups offering an internet update has shown up, just the scheduled automatic updates.

 

You do not need to update your internet to a newer version, however you may need to update the Flash player to the current version. Which version of Flash Player are you currently using?

i'm not sure, but like I said it was never updated. the place in tools where I managed the add-ons said I have a 32 bit. I might have my grandmother contact the local computer guy to see if he can update the player.

 

You can check your Flash player by right clicking on the Game screen and choose "About Flash Player". It will take you to the Adobe site where you will be able to update to the latest version.

checked and it said I have 22,0,0,192

 

You have the current version installed Have you checked your "settings" available by right clicking and checking the "folder" (3rd tab) to make sure you have allowed enough memory to be stored?

I checked the game this morning and it seems to have straitened itself out. i'll definitely keep what you told me in mind about clearing cookies and cookie cache, the person who set my laptop up in the first place did it in a bit of a hurry.
