I have two farms. Because of this, I open each in a different brand of browser. One farm is open in Opera. The other opens in Chrome.

The farm that I run in Chrome is run via Big Fish.

The Chrome browser defaults to "ASK" every morning (because I shut my computer off every night). It doesn't matter if I change it every morning to "ALLOW" because every night when I shut my computer off it resets to "ASK" (which is the default for Chrome now (and has been for at least the last year or so).

Please remove the great big screen that now pops up when I open the game in Chrome. I know. I changed it yesterday - in order to get past the great big screen - and low and behold this morning I get the great big screen again. I changed it again in order to access the game. This will go on ad nauseam until Big Point removes the great big screen that pops up and we can go back to the little pop up message that I click and say "allow" and go on with my farming.

That was easy. Did it every morning...Two clicks and I was farming away. Now - I have to go through the kerfuffle business every morning because Chrome doesn't seem to want to remember the changes I've made to it.

Thank you for trying to fix the issue. But Chrome seems dead set on the default for Flash being "ASK".

    Hello dumbunny,

Unfortunately this is not a Farmerama issue, nor a Flash issue - this is something that is up to Chrome, and we cannot influence it in any way, nor find a workaround. It is clearly stated when you open the Flash settings in Google Chrome that "Your Flash settings will be kept until you quit Chrome." . As soon as you close the browser, your preference will be forgotten, and next time you launch the browser, you'll have to allow Flash to run in all the Flash websites and applications you access :( .

Unless they miraculously change their mind, there is nothing else we can do about it apart from enabling it every time, or ... using a different browser.

Is there anything else we can help you with?
    Best regards,

It is a Farmerama issue...I just want the screen gone that comes up when I open the page with Farmerama: It's the big one with the mole and "Howdy Farmer". Just take it down. That's all I want done. I don't need to be told over and over to fix something that can't be fixed.

Edited to add: I understand that you are trying to educate players about the issue, but there is no way to get that mole off the screen - no "X", nothing, so then you MUST go through the rigamarole to change the settings to "Allow" (the ones that don't stay changed, and trust me, I've been doing this for a long time now, so I know they won't stay changed). I just want to go back to the pop-up message that I clicked on, click the allow button and the game reloaded and played fine. In other words - less screens, less clicking, less rigamarole.

So if the mole and his huge screen are temporary, yay. If they are a new permanent fixture, well...

    Hello dumbunny,

Thank you for the detailed explanation and suggestion - we will forward it to the team, but I am afraid the screen is not planned to be taken down very soon :( The mole is just trying to be helpful, since there are a lot of players who need instructions for enabling Flash and some might be taking a break - they will need easy ways to contact support or view the FAQs.
    Best regards,

Thanks for letting me know. I have discovered a slight shortcut - you don't have to actually go to the whole extra screen every time - you can simply click on the little window that opens up, change the option to "allow" there in that little window and then reload the game window - this saves quite a bit of time and clicking. Just in case you want to add that information to what you're already offering.

Teddy.bear, thank you for trying to help an old crotchety gal who is a loyal player. I really appreciate it. You may close the thread now.

Jazac - what you are describing is what I finally figured out this afternoon. Not as easy as before, but not as much falderal as I was going through. Happy farming!

Thank you for the tip, Jazac :) and for your lovely message. That alternative option of enabling Flash was actually included in the FAQ guide a few days ago, after the detailed step by step settings - when we added instructions for other browsers as well. I'm glad you found this option and you find it easier, dumbunny.

Is there anything else we could help you with?
