having read the event faq i can say i wont be partaking in this event, the rewards for the amount of animals and tree fruit is paltry to say the least. you would be better off saving the goods and donating to farmer society quests for better rewards or just selling them in the market for huge profits when everyone heads over to there to grab the goods needed if they are doing this quest.
at the end of it all, the reward item giving only ~10000 ep/tep is lame.
you would have done better leaving this event out as there is already the wedding event running as well as the train tomorrow, pick a tree......
it seems the suggestions of players in the "player suggestions forum" have fallen on deaf ears or have just been totally ignored regarding too many overlapping event running simultaneously.

 

I have taken part in this event, but not to the full extent as the rewards are well below what is normally offered. The same can be said of some of the permanent farmer society quests (even the newer ones)

I know that this is a business which has costs to bear, but a game that feels generous makes players want to stick around and be more willing to spend their money playing it.

 

I would have participated in this event if the drops came from other things than just trees - the rewards weren't worth me changing my crops for trees so I just let this one pass me by. Shame, cos I would normally take part in any event that doesn't require event crop growing.
I also ignored the Transeedlantic Express - too many events without any real rewards. I just concentrated on the main event.
