The answer was "Yes", 12ss12! Yay!!

And I completely forgot to use it, because I used both gold slots to SG buffs...
But I activated the MM cloud row.

The best part was: as soon as I planted the starter 10 seeds, it appeared an extra 5 seeds immediately! So I have 15 seeds of each waiting to mature! Yeesss!

While making the rounds on my Island I too noticed the option for Hippo feed. Could this possibly be the new breeder this month? I looked and can't find Hippos available in the market or as a prize in the new Quest.

 

Not a new breeding animal, just a new animal to be introduced. Expect a Baha Wonder Stables and new FSQ to go with it.

I think, I will do all silver levels and then the 5th task working backwards to get the CR first and afterwards the givers. At least the biggest amounts of crops and drops should be done then. I am not really interested in the sticker, but the supergrow is a very nice to have in task 1 (30 in total).

Figured out I couldn't put trophy on MM fields doh.. Does the rune work there then ?

I got 20 maggots on my first harvest. Buffed what I had, so hopefully I shall build up my stock at SG speed

 

Initial harvest (a few with glow mold) yielded only 22 drops. Think I'm not going to get enough drops and survive this event due to RL

 

So far I have 0 drops. Can't get into my game...... all of my other farms I can get into but this one.... bah humbug
I am happy to see that others are doing well though.

 

Cleared even the flash cookies itself, not just the computer ? Flash is such a problematic player, wish they changed it. I really hope you can log in soon Offmyrocker. Fingers crossed !

 

Just got in to harvest my left moonlight crops - 7 drops! Trying to finish an FSQ, so only had 2 hr crops in there. I'm going to grow these as quickly as possible and then finish the FSQ - drops will come from the 8 hr crop that I'll plant overnight.

 

I was preparing in grow the exact amount of crops (like I do with every event crop), when I remembered they will stay in the game... I guess it's time to make a few more before donating, otherwise I'll have to restart from scratch those two new crops...

Hope this helps to anyone who was forgetting this "detail", like I was doing...

 

for every square covered on my fields and got 8 ...that is pathetic and got most of these from my farm ... not MM as is stated in the FAQ said.... saw them drop
3 were from Magic trees..... So tight fisted scrooge is working out the figures again

Moonlight Mania CR Gives 10% Reduce time on All Spooky Crops including New Event Crops this EFFECT last 24 Hours....Then another 24 Hours Cooling time when EFFECT is not Active. When can use This CR on 1st and 3rd Day of this Event

We will be needing 8 Terror Bouquet as Each Terror Bouquet last 8 Hours so We also need at Least 4 CAC too. I Strongly Suggest to Consume 4 x CAC and 8 x Terror Bouquet and 1 White Innocents Into Buff at Start of this Event....The Consume a Pinkie Pie Pie too then you have Enough Duration of CAC and TB for this Event to Reap as Many Spooky Crops as you can

As Aluntino Kindly Pointed out is will be Pointless to use Tentacle Trees as they will not help to get any Moony Maggot Drops. It is Spooky Crops ONLY !! also Tentacle Trees cannot take Advantage of +1 Spooky Crop either !!

We get +1 Bonus using 2 x 2, 2 x 1 and 1 x 1 Field Most Effective is 1 x 1 Field As we need to Conform to 1 x 1 Fields ASAP as soon after the Nuke Spooky Crop Phased is Completed.

Since will be be getting +1 Spooky Crops which helps us to get Quicker Build up of New Spooky Crops during Nuking Method using at First 2 x 2 Fields by using Water, Manure, Super Grow and Suzy Super Grow we can get 100 Duskshadow Blooms and 100 Spotted Horrors on First round of Nuking Event Crops Usually we can only Max this at 90 in the First Round.

The Moonlight Mania Playing Field has total of 1 x 1 Fields we can place 97 2 x 1 Fields which is Ideal for 2nd Round on Nuking Event Crops it is more Effective to Place 100 Duckshadow or 100 Spotted Horrors this way then using 1 x 1 Field Once we have Reap the 2nd Round of Nuking Crops This Method then we can convert our Moonlight Playing Field to 1 x 1 Fields.

My Goal is to get 2500 Spotted Horrors which includes surplus of 246 Spotted Horrors to build of stock at next MM Event

Also My Goal is to get 1400 Duckshadow which includes surplus of 300 Duckshadow Blooms to build stock at next MM Event

The Reason for This is Duckshadow Blooms takes 8 Hours to Grow and Spotted Horrors Takes 5 Hours to Grow it takes too long to grow to Take Advantage of +1 Spooky Crop Bonus.

I am going to Take Advantage of this By Growing Coral Mushrooms and Blood Ferns to Finish of Magic Mirror Spooky Quest I cannot Find Info of Growing time of Coral Mushrooms and Blood Ferns as they are not yet Added to spooky crops Growing time Table Both have Shorter Growing Time which i am happy to Grow so that i reap Coral Mushrooms and Blood Ferns in no time during remainder of this MM Event to Finish of Completing Magic Mirror Event Forgot to post this thought it did opps

 

Had you by any chance just been to the MM field prior to the maggot rain on normal field ? sometimes the visual drop is delayed and can show in the "wrong field". I had it happen to me.

I have so far 50 maggots - and unless I go fishing for spooky fish (joke) the drop should be fine. What I am pondering on is if I should set my alarm bell so I can harvest during night to make the most out of my buffs - or just don't bother about wasting them. Decisions and sanity - always tricky. I have so much spooky crop that needs to be grown.

 

I am using this MM to build a crow roost, items needed for CR's, recipes and then I will see if I have anything left for the 'event'
I got a whopping 12 Moony Maggots first harvest

I got 89 Moony Maggots so far got 31 Moony Maggots on 1st Harvest, Should Finish This Event by Tomorrow Morning that i Start to grow Blood Ferns to finish off Magic Mirror Quest by the End of Tomorrow Too.

Then need to Make a New Goal or Stock up Spooky Crops to either Make more Crow Roast Pens or might change my mind have to see
