Thanks everyone for the crunching and analytics! 3 pages on the forum all ready - Hard to list everyone.
I used more comfort fields on ltbit with Fruit cake and white innocence. As a result I have more crops there than in my main farm. Drops are a different story. littletinybit has 496 and ltbit has 406.

I was excited about this event as ltbit wants stars to help with LL (I dislike moving trophies) So was bummed to see crates. Hopefully my dream of Stars will unfold!

Since this event should be doable - I am in. Keeping my stables of Chameleon and peacocks out along with key trees.

 

I am also thankful for the strategy...especially Moraine(no not too wordy!)
I hope no one has made the idiotic mistake that I did 2x today. I accidentally kept making straight pipes instead of switching to bent. Arggh It all shook out in a couple of turns...but I had to be extra careful not to repeat my oops! I find as I age...my multi-tasking abilities diminish!
I have really been lucky both days with the wheel....have won 100% bonus each morning! Done with crops....just waiting on wrenches. I wish BP would add a prize to the wheel of double drop amounts!!!! oh whee...that would be fun-tastic!!!

 

Just the very thought of this makes me salivate like Pavlov's Dog!

 

I had not intended to do this event but have joined in. Getting a very late start with crops but am ahead on drops

 

I am enjoying the fact that, not only are the drops dropping nicely and the crop demand is not too high (one harvest can do several levels even when planting on only two fields) but there is actually only ONE event going on!

Got to be good ... this month doesn't seem too badly spaced out event-wise. My strategy, go round once and continue if I want to but if not, go back to filling those FSQ orders!

I am done and have the cloud row up and running! As soon as these last event crops are harvested I will go back to
normal farming and see what the trees and pens have to offer that I have won! Usually no big whoop! lol Good luck to all still

Is pipe bamboo considered an Other crop that would get a +3 bonus from Tropic Colada?

 

No, sorry. Pipe Bamboo is "Event Crop" - "other crop" are crop like Watermellon, Blueberries, see this thread: {FAQ} Crop Categories

 

Oh MARLY....I'm so sorry you made the same mistake!!! I hope it's not contagious!

I'm working on 2nd round. What are people getting with the crates? I've bought 1 so far and received a CAC. I am not sure if I should buy more of the givers...or get more of the crates????

 

That is what I am wondering also....whether to go for a giver or the Crates Like I need more givers though without room to put them Congrats to everyone and have fun getting more or take advantage and stock up!! I know what my head is telling me to do but....maybe I'll go a few more rounds

 

Anybody got Crates O' Treasure Hunt? What rewards did you get?
I'm not happy with this event rewards, another CR with Crate O' Country Coins... Considering getting Creates O' Treasure Hunt but would love to hear from you what it gave you.
