We can only acquire 767 Star coins completely this whole event. As Cloud Row + Givers needs 622 Star Coins it only leaves you 145 Star coins to get Miscellaneous in event shop.

With only 145 Star coins we are not able to get much in way of Miscellaneous Prizes. The Miscellaneous Star Coins requirement is at much inflated value compared to Hooked on Ice Fishing Event !!! for 20 x Power Feed cost 20 Star Coins with Frappe Ole 20 x Power Feed costs 100 Star Coins (5 times) amount of Star Coins.

I am not happy with amount of Star Coins for Miscellaneous Prizes in this event. There is some thing not right plus it is so unfair. There is nothing in FAQ to say we can get even more Star Coins which would help !!

Sure there is...you can play the levels more than once to get as many star coins as you want!

Before I start the event, I would like to say thank you for making this a six day event unlike recently when events have been reduced to five days (with the exception of Home Sweet Home which was extended by a couple of days - that was very nice!). :D

On the other hand, once again we have to mill something to participate in the event. We have so many animals that this really messes up our already over-subscribed mill - either give us an event mill or leave the mill out of events. Please. :)

I was playing around with the layouts and find I can not really make my own path. Meaning if I should want to skip any of the rewards and just go right for the star coins, I can not do this. I'm trying to reduce the number of pipes need so that I can complete this event (holiday things going on for the next few days) and buy the Cloud Row. I do not like that I can not really make my own path. If we must mill the time is great, acceptable. The prices in the shop are not acceptable especially in comparison to the last event. At this time I'm not so sure about the drop rate... just gettin' started.

    Top Event!

I like the low requirements along with a very decent drop rate. IMHO this event shows the Game Team and Devs really did listen to the everlasting complaints about it. Decent rewards as well!

I take the mill aspect for granted, althou I do not understand the need for many extra clicks for such short timed mill products. The game/event would've been even more enjoyable when Devs made it so that if requirements for a mill product are met, the mill product ccould be obtained by a single click on the event layer.
One more comment: Due to the limited space on the playfield the options to choose your own path from start to finish are very limited. Game wise I do understand this but a few more options would've made it real fun to make a layout of our own.

Minor negatives and still a challenge to complete. Good event!

I love this event. The requirements are entirely reachable and the drop rate seems very good. Being a puzzle lover, I enjoyed the aspect of having to create the pipe paths. In fact, I showed my students (I teach riding lessons to thirty teen and pre-teen girls) this event, because they often mock me for having to dash into the barn in between lessons so that i can harvest and replant. I love the graphics, the concept, and the differentness of this event. I don't love that we have mystery stables events going on during this - we need all the playfield for growing the pipes, but I want to check out my stables NOW. I've said before I don't care for overlapping of any kind of events. I also don't like having to mill things for events. When I started this game six years ago, we had half the number of animals and milling wasn't quite so difficult to balance out. Now, it's very frustrating not being able to just put in lots of 100 followed by PF - and I have the mill subscription! I can't imagine people for whom every feed takes full time. As much as I love this game, it's becoming a full time job if I want to get the most out of it. I am able to operate that way; many people cannot, and it takes away from the enjoyment of the game. Either reduce the number of events, or reduce the other requirements of the game - when one constantly seems to be making no progress, it gets frustrating. I am on the cusp of reaching level 100 so personally, I have struck a good balance in how I play this game, but for many, many players, the frustration wins out over the enjoyment, and they leave the game.

All in all, a great game and a great event - just please realize this is a GAME not a JOB.

I enjoyed the beginning of this event but as I progressed, my enthusiasm waned as the 'long grow and drop' process became somewhat tedious, again. By the time I reached and finished level 10, all I wanted was the CR and the two lots of animal stables, so I completed the shortest path on number one again to achieve this and also managed to get the sticker as well. I am finished with this event now as the desire to continue is not worth the time, effort and large amount of stars needed for extra prizes (as compared to the fishing event).

There really wasn't much flexibility with choosing our own path and the prizes along the way were too small and too few. I liked the graphics and thought that the game idea was good but the playability and rewards could have been better.

I just wish we could have events where we use our own farm produce instead of needing to destroy our farms to grow large amounts of worthless 7 hour crops, all while waiting for those, at times, elusive drops. It seems that what we grow on our farm is only good for the FSQs and the small amounts needed for occasional events.

I echo the above. Just over a day left and it appears that one has to decide on a cloud row or the other stuff for the reason that theres not enough coins to get the extras. Level 9 is the mark where you finally get enough for the cloud row, then what? less than 300 coins to buy other stuff; I'm not putting out anymore bamboo to struggle. 75 coins to get one set of stables when the drop rate for wrenches on a field of bamboo gave me 17 with all buffs flying? (tires flattened again)
Prizes for completing a level were little dribs and drabs. Is it just me or are the prizes getting harder to get?
I would give this an A+ for the concept but a C- for what it delivered. I think I'll move my attention to the quests, more of these type events are coming at us. they all sound good in the beginning. I haven't even finished 10...still waiting on drops.
    Last hurrah:
I finished and got the CR, the two stables and had 49 coins left which was not enough for a tree so I got the 5 spins. The cost of the items was too much for what little time we had and the resources to work with. Quite disappointing that the coin setup was to end up with 49? not 50? were so meager. I don't want a sticker. stickers do nothing. So done with this.

Event concept and graphics were fun, but there were WAY too many overly priced prizes to choose from, leaving us farmers feel unfulfilled from only getting a select FEW, and also like we did not complete the event after growing crops like crazy for days and even going thru all 10 steps twice >:( . Event crops should have been 4 hours instead of 7. Boooooooring :sleepy:.

Not one of my favorite events, by far. You can do better BP. Come on, step it up. Tis the season, don't be grinches -.-

I liked the event concept, but must admit I'm disappointed in the drops and long crop only being available on the main farm areas. That meant that once I finally got the CR and givers, there wasn't time for me to get much else. It's almost 8pm my time now, so pretty evident I won't get very far in round two before it's over (not staying up all night). I would have liked a chance for goodies too, and it looks like I'll only be able to select one or two items. Disappointing. Drops weren't so great for me (I grew enough crops without issue), but the lack of wrenches is the main reason I struggled to get much further and obtain some prizes beyond the CR.

I also liked this event and managed to get halfway through a second round. :)

I would also agree that the number of coins required for certain items is far too high. Either reduce the number of coins or the time of the crop to give us the ability to grow more and get more prizes. This would also require an increase in drops of course but if we work hard enough during an event and manage to finish all the requirements and go for another round, surely we should be able to pick up most of the things on offer. :music:

I didn't bother working out the route to take, just didn't have the time but I know it gave a lot of farmers a bit of extra interest to try and beat the default routes. :D

All in all, I liked this event. Sure there could have been a few tweaks here and there; as always ;)
However; life happened and I didn't get to finish.
:inlove:I was BLESSED to have been trapped in the kitchen for almost two whole days slaving to feed my extended family. I had a very Thankful Thanksgiving :D
I ended up with just a little more crops then I needed but my drops feel short. I was very pleased with the fact we could choose the order of CR Items instead of having to get them in an order. I never end up with the CR. If I get all the giver items I don't get the CR BUT this time due to the way the event was set up I GOT MINE the first one I won too!!
I gathered my items backward, getting the CR first and worked my way down Gaudy Cow, Organic Milkshake leaving me needing Alpine Antics. Hopefully when G&T comes back around I came made a deal with someone who didn't finish but collected from the bottom up. Just throwing that out there :music: or sometime soon I'll be able to pick it up in the shop for a few FC.

i loved the event. I also liked the fact we had a longer crop then 6 hours... yes it will always be boring to those of us who sits at pc all day to play.. But to those who works... or like me work may vary...or even when life happens like shopping or like this past holiday for most in the USA(maybe other places too) had thanksgiving to tend too. then them long crops helps alot... i do wish to see a 8 hour at least... most people work day is 8 hours on the job... not counting lunch...

my pros/cons of the event....1) we got to choose our path/paths wasn't much chooseable with things blocking paths.I also didnt like we had to do other levels of pipes within each game before we could start the flow(should've been optionable) 2) mill time for event item was .. well off the chart....lol it was great/ few seconds... not sure i want to complain here... but got to say though, did we really have to mill this? 3) crop time... good for those who had things to do outside of game/ for most of event i was here... did work one day though, i was bored yes... but what crop isn't boring??? oh 5 minute....lol 4) prizes from event... well what we had to buy was great/ what was very poor was the ones on the board... 2 everywhere..... minus the star coins... i know i saw 3 farm wheel spins...

I really liked this event. I usually don't participate in events with special crops (ie. most events) because I have my own farm goals and can't necessarily dedicate the time to growing enough plants. But I felt this had some amazing rewards which were too good to pass up (for me, at least, who doesn't pay RL money for this game!) so I decided to put my goals on hold and take part. I did struggle with drops, but equally my farm wasn't set up to absolutely maximise the number of drops possible, and it was only at the end of the event when i realised I was pushed for time that I harvested short-time trees twice daily. I ended up paying 2BB for the final wrench when my last harvest, done 8 minutes before the timer ended, left me one drop short. Overall loved this event, though I'd have loved it more if I could run through the event or at least a few levels one more time, as there were still plenty of prizes left over that I'd have wanted to collect. Still, glad this was one I participated in.
