That's normal, milicent. You plan the pipes whenever you like, then you have to grow the event crop, collect drops and mill it into bent and straight pipes. Then when you have enough you press 'start' and get the rewards, which you spend in the event shop. It will not erase your planned routes before you use them, though you can choose to erase them yourself and re-plan at any time.

 

The game will let you plan all 10 steps without depositing any pipes. Make sure you mill enough pipes (straight & curved) for each step before you hit the start button and it should work for you. hope this helps. codyj #44475068

I got the CR up and running. I only completed through level 9 and I had enough coins. I don't know why I thought we had to complete all 10 levels to get the CR.

 

never fails... drop rate sucks for this event and yet we have another to do.... i need wrenches everyone please... thank you very much... i only have 100 each made and havent started any levels yet..ran out of wrenches... got my crops so now got roses down..

Am NOT doing any of these events ...I am going to grow crops for my barn ...I cannot be bothered with any of them ...Too many and thats puts me off of doing any of them

 

For anyone trying to work out if they've grown enough crops / are likely to get enough drops for the prizes they want:

If you follow the routes suggested by the game, each star coin costs on average 12.6 pipes and 1.25 wrenches

(If you follow the routes I suggested on page 2 of this thread, which are more efficient, each star coin costs 11.9 pipes and 1.18 wrenches)

These are only averages, some levels are more efficient than others. It should help give you an idea how many more of each you need though.

I'm debating on getting either the OR Lynx or trying for the pkgs of stables I wonder if the OR lynx is just the base....probably. I just noticed yesterday that the event runs a little longer than usual.

 

It's just the orange lynx upgrade, no base stable is included Julie (same for the candy factory).
I really wish they'd state that in the description so we'd all have time to complain, lol.​

 

Just squeezed the last of my pipes out for this one. I grew way too many crops for the amount of wrenches I ended up with. I hope the EP is good for them as I have over 5000 and zero wrenches left. I was able to get the CR and make it back through level 3 a second time so I snagged a food goodies as well.

I personally didn't find this event stressful but that drop rate is questionable for me to be so off balanced.

 

Got the cloudrow & the PFs. Also 5 spins. But no stickers this time.

I finished level 4 in the second round. Like clashstrummer said, drops were not enough. I am left with 631 crops. I did not see any point in wasting any more energy, time or supergrows to get the drops & crops. So winded it up several hours back.

 

Did they extend it? ohh well I didn't know it. Anyway it's okay now I know, I should not do events when I have exams since I only focus on the exam I do stupid things on my farm.
