From The President's Heart...

Good day, good people.
Many many years ago, on a hot October afternoon in the year of our Lord 2010, I stumbled upon an online game, having been bored by this thing called life.
It was called Farmerama.
It had rain and floods, and instead of being enjoyable, it added some stress. Weeds, that one could not smoke, grew if you did not attend to the fields. The rest, they say, is now history.
But those pain points made it addictive. And, before I knew it, I was setting targets for myself. Including wishing that one day I may be able to go to German and visit the Bigpoint/Farmerama offices and play from there. I gladly achieved some.
I made many online friends. With some, against Game rules, we contacted away from the Game and exchanged emails. We connected. We shared hints, tips, items and memories. I saw some grow old, some tired, some bigger, some stressed. I made, and lost friends.
Well, if you are still playing the Game today, you deserve a medal for being loyal.
However, life has a way of pushing people to grow. It may be up, old, tall, heavy, beard, it's all growth. And it's inevitable when you actually look at it. You may delay, deny, denigrate, or debate it, but sooner you will have to accept it. And then move on.
You may take away that which is in my hands, but you can never take away what is in my heart.
I am thankful for all the connections I made here, and for you, being part of the global family that kept me awake on some days. Thankful to the Team at Bigpoint for this Game. You may not know how it changed lives.
Oh, not to forget that I won a Farmerama Cup, in some competition. It took months to get to Zimbabwe by surface mail, but am glad it finally did.

So many faces in and out of my life,
Some will last, some will just be now and then.
Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes,
I am afraid; it's time for goodbye again.​
