This is based on the pizza/egg event where we need to take tetris like cards and make different ice cream mix.

Cloudrow offers a +1 tree fruit for 4h and 1000 x main lv EP, 1000 x baha lv TEP, reload 38h

Event crop: Sprouting Spoon 5h30 on Main land and Green Meadow only

2 event drops from crops and trees on Main land and Green Meadow only:

Ice Cream Scoop: 3 at a time are used during the minigame to redraw a new card
Cones: needed to mill the Plain Ice Cream

Milling item for the minigame:

Plain Ice Cream (15s) : 440 Sprouting Spoons + 20 Cones + 5 Oats

51 (+1 free) minigames needed to get the cloudrow making the total:

22360 Sprouting Spoons
1020 Cones
255 Oats
12m45s of milling time

Surfer Hut Upgrades:

to get the 4 upgrade curtains for the Surfer Hut, we'll need to accumulate at least 11420 game points, average of 220 if we only want play the 52 minigames. This seems quite high a number, we may need to play more minigames to achieve this game score.

I am torn. There are good prizes - the 4 upgrades to the surfer hut, a hyena stable and a piccolo box at the bitter end, too.

I should be sewing. But, the weather and RL have had other plans - we've been rained out at 2 of our 3 farmer's markets so far. So I've spent more time farming than I should have, but the good news is that this farm and PM23's are back in action for now.

So I think I will give this one a go on the usual 3 suspects.

Does anyone else think that the 3 different colored ice cream looks like spumoni? Has anyone seen spumoni ice cream for sale where they live? We can no longer get it here in MT. Apparently that flavor has become passé.

As for actual strategy I do have some: Do NOT waste BBs purchasing the secondary "freezer" (on the pizza events it was an oven) - it actually can make the mini-game more difficult. I wish it was optional the whole way through. Also, once you get to the point where you have one or two items left to place, don't waste the swap items (the scoops) because you'll just get the same thing over and over again (learn from my past failures).

 

Hi, Thanks Northy for starting the thread and crunching the numbers. I think we only need to mill 51 plain ice cream as they give us 1 free! That would give us the 52 needed to get the CR.. I will give this a try to see how far I can get! Good luck everyone and I hope we all reach our goals!

Thanks for this! I don't look at Season events any more as I felt that the outlay was too high for the rewards but I may just give this one a go! Trouble is, I can't even remember what we have to donate!

 

My issue with the donations is the numbers - 15 of an animal is a lot for some farmers. And 350 of some crops can be too steep as well.

I tend to be choosy depending upon what the customers are asking for. On PM23's farm, I don't donate if the customer is asking for products because that farm doesn't make them. This farm and PM23's have sat out the last two seasons - did not participate at all. If I do the upcoming season on these two farms will depend on if these two farms can get to that hyena habitat in this current event.

So far, so good - on track to at least get the CR.

 

I'm doing pretty well - mainly cos I am flooding my fields with green goo to speed things up and make sure I get the Hyena! I accumulated a lot from a pretty tough FSQ so I am making the most of having a good stash.

Season: What is the purpose of Pre-Season? I made the mistake of starting to donate yesterday and then realised that it did not do anything - or did it?

 

Pre-Season is an advertisement, buy Season pass, you can get all this
You got EP, TEP and CC, what customers give, when you donate and possibly completion rewards.

I also used a lot of green goo, now I am growing in normal speed to finish the event. I have cloud row up and running, I just got it before I had my mangos ready to harvest. So now I need less than 13000 mangos to grow .

I can guess what FSQ (though I don't know the name) you are doing, I am busy growing Mangoes too! Only another 6,000 to go.

 

I decided to skip the Frozen event and am preparing for the Vacation Season which begins in 13 hours. We can get the hyena stable at lvl 39! Maybe because I'm still new to the game, the Season events are my favorite...perhaps because of the 'instant' gratification of what to me are great rewards.

I tried the Frozen event with the free pass and realized that for me now, it would be too much work and need too much time and concentration. I wish everyone doing the event success in reaching your goals. In our summer heat, all that ice cream sure looks refreshing!

 

I have just finished playing the 52 mini games! The CR is up and running and the good news is I was able to get enough points on the right side to get the hyena pen after the first 45 games! I will continue on as I now want to finish and get the Piccolo box too!

Finished the whole event, it took me 62 mini games to get the piccolo box and I had 4 milled ice cream left I just really had fun!

 

Got my hyena in 43 mini games!

Have to play another 8 games and I'll have the CR up and running too! Fun game overall, all those ice cream look so hummy!!

EDIT: for the players who still haven't started playing yet: aim for combos and different mixes of ice creams (mint, mint, straberry) (chocolate, mint, strawberry), (chocolate, mint, chocolate), etc... This will reward you better points in the end!
