I had a thread opened earlier today reporting some farming issues and then my last post was that it has improved....I guess I was too optimistic because as soon as the thread was closed the problems came right back!

Both pnp and BillyWhiskers are experiencing the same thing. I have to continuously refresh the game in order to navigate around the farm. It took almost 10 min to harvest the farm and had to refresh twice.

On BW, I harvested but then went to reseed and the seeding menu did not pop up. Now instead of having a long crop for overnight the glade is planted in fennel. My plan is to delete the field and try again to plant a long crop. It also requires refreshing often.

Please note that I have done the following:
    Cleaned browser and flash cache
    Refreshed
Log out and Log back in
    Reboot the computer
Tried different browsers....three farms, three different browsers, all have similar issues
Verified all programs are up to date
That's all that I can remember but feel like I am forgetting to list something besides begging, pleading, crying, yelling...haven't done any of those things yet but if you think it will help...:p

    ID:42614584 and 50184161

Edit: Now only able to see one field at a time before having to refresh. The game freezes when I click on the signpost to go back to the map to select another field. Pnp has all overnight crops planted and as soon as BW is ready for bed, I will log off and reboot again.

Will try again tomorrow. have a good evening....

    *pnp sleepily finds her bed*

    Hello puppiesnponies,

I have cleared your server cache on both farms, I hope this helps.

A side note: do not log into both farms at the same time, this should improve the loading speed as well.

    Looking forward to your update.

teddy - how much time should be in between logging into the farms? I normally log in to pnp first on Chrome and then once that is loaded, I log in on BW on Firefox and the final farm on IE. Typically in that order. Most of the time I do wait until one is officially open before logging on to the next one but I am sure there are times I have gotten a head of myself.

Since you have cleared the server cache, do I have to log out again for it to 'take'? Sorry, teddy, you may be the sweet stuffed bear but today I have fluff in my head.:p

    Hello puppiesnponies :inlove:

My brain is not working too well today so this could turn out interesting xD .

On a serious note - since you have been experiencing a few problems over time, I would strongly advise you not to have both farms open at the same time. I would recommend you to try playing them one at a time for a couple of days, to see if overall the experience will improve - it definitely should.

After your cache is cleared, you don't have to do anything - changing fields should be enough, so I will do it again, and please try to take one farm at a time to see if the situation changes. If you have other things opened in the background, please try closing those as well.
    Best regards,

Oh that is very disappointing news...to have to play only one at a time:(. I typically leave the browsers open so I can farm a while and read the forum and check the farms at my own pace. It gives me the needed computer breaks for my back, neck and shoulders without having to start the log in process over each time. I don't know that I could keep up with them if I am having to constantly log out of one just to log into another. Perhaps I have misunderstood, but I thought that was the reason for multiple browsers? I know I read it somewhere a suggestion that if you have more than one farm to work them on separate browsers. Oh this tech stuff boggles my mind (whatever I have left of it).

I will try your suggestion though to see if it helps....

    Hello puppiesnponies,

That is the purpose of multiple browser: You cannot be logged into more than one farm in the same browser, so if you wish to be logged into more than a farm at a time, you have to use different browsers for each of them. Another reason for using different browser is the cache - to avoid cache mix up and visual glitches from one farm appearing into another, it's best to play them in different browsers and have different temp files stored for them.

However, since you seem to be experiencing problems and I dare to say, quite frequently, because it is not normal for the lags or anything else to occur so often, I would strongly advise you to not have them opened at the same time, and give your computer a nice break, since this will most probably improve your gaming experience and speed things up.

I am looking forward to your update.
    Hello igotfrogs :(

I am happy to see you are aware of the hijacking, so please be so kind and open a new thread if the issue persists, and we will be happy to assist you. We have no server issues (apart from the earlier forum problems ) but the game should not be lagging. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

    Best regards,

The lag problems seem to be better now but I really haven't played as much the last couple of days due to some RL events. This week we are changing our ISP carrier so possibly we will see even greater improvement (that is the plan). You may close this thread and if I have any other problems after the new internet I will open a new one. Have a good weekend.

Thank you very much for the update, puppiesnponies :) I hope your new ISP will be awesome!

    Happy farming!
