Not pleased at all with this event. Will do Quest 3, but the rest is not worth the trouble.

 

Hi all, good luck to those doing this event. I don't see apricot trees in my inventory nor do I see them to purchase. (?)

gardengal: I'm not sure as I haven't really gone into the details (no change there then I hear you cry!) but I think you have the choice to make Fruit Cup 1 with Apples and Pears OR Apricots and Yellow Pears.
Please correct me if I am wrong and I will edit this to avoid confusing others!

Anyone know if we can eventually put the doc marigold givers on the pet playground? I noticed that the curtains show up there as "plunkable" but not the actual giver. And it doesn't say they can be placed there in the FAQ...hmmmm...

My new event strategy. Only donate drops. No mess, no fuss and especially NO STRESS.

 

FYI:

After running this terrible event for 2 days the event requirements have been updated. (see FAQ.)

ALL of it could've and should've been done on forehand so my boycot on doing this event remains firm.

 

An update to requirements after the event is underway?? Event requirements should have been properly thought out before going live. There's been enough feedback from numerous events for BP to get the gist of what players are complaining about and what they would like to see happen for them to enjoy events again.

Why can't there be some events that actually just require stock from our barns and not junk crops?

 

The updates only affect Quests 2 to 4 and they mainly give us more prizes: three extra upgrades and improvements to the CR.

I admit though, if you have already decided not to do the Quests as you were unable to get all upgrades, then this would be pretty annoying.

It does show that someone was listening but it doesn't really change anything for me. The main reason I'm not doing these Quests is the outrageous crop requirements. I have never really done events just because of the prizes.
I will still just do Quest 3.

I just wanted to point out that after 4 curtains are applied you get 5% extra EP from giver for 1 hour, and you can put it on the pet ground. You should be able to get at least 4 (maybe 5) with no event plants from Event 3. If you pair back and just plan to get the easiest upgrades, you can upgrade the 5% without that much farm time investment.

with 651 hours (170 hours quest 1) left I have 12,500 event crops in barn. I am with everyone on this event about not doing it.. But I am growing the crops cause more ex points... so I will turn in a few here and there to get some things... Not gonna stress over this long event. Will try to get upgrades.

I would like a long event without many events before and after much less during it. Also the requirements also does not need to be so high that we have to harvest 24/7 on a long event.. You would think we would have a break in that area... PFFT..

I am also not gonna make that Football event ethier... they didn't have a giver I need to finish my old football CR... I bought that crate of farm supplies times 3 instead and only got 5 BB's and powerfeed out of it.

 

Just a reminder that this 3rd week we do not need seeds just drops!

So did I I was trying to get the last suet cakes needed for Bird Vacation that ends in just over an hour.

 

I didn't even think about it ... I will take my chances with drops. It is the only quest I will be doing and if I don't get anywhere, I won't have lost anything! Unike the Bird Vacation which I should definitely have ignored completely. A waste of time and resources (but I did make a wheelbarrow load of CCs so shouldn't really moan ... but I will!).

Yay! I got the sticker!

Once again, no drops from Magic Trees.
