A forum moderator confirmed: The reward charts are correct. You can win a total of 17/20 upgrades for the Doc Marigold giver.
The last 3 upgrades are available for purchase at 85 BB per upgrade.

So, given the linked event quests, the Team thinks 4 weeks of continued event farming isn't enough for all the upgrades?
Well, I for sure am not keen on such an attitude, let alone I'm encouraged to buy the missing upgrades.

In fact, along with ridicoulously high requirements for each of the quests I'm eager to walk away from this event as it adds no fun to my farming game.

    Thank you for understanding.

I'm looking forward to fun, reasonable events without marketing objectives in the lead!

Well said habalala, I totally agree with you. None of my farms will be doing this event.

    Not worth my time:oops:
I hope BP understands that players don't want any more exhausting events, we never did actually.

I wish I could like a post more than once :)

Tried reading the FAQ, it was longer than my dissertation, and only slightly less complicated :p I am out, not even going to open the event :(

8)I have to agree with the above posts!! We farmers are getting very fed up with all the Destruction going on down on our farms - all for the sake of squeezing as many money making Event/Quest schemes as possible into a game that was not meant to have them as a priority over our actual farming activities!!

    Well said, habalala!!

I'll be happy to add another 'like' to this one^^ also, Stinkerton!!.........

.....and a 'like' for you, too!!!:D

I stopped doing the 'once-a-week, tear-up-your-farm again' mini Quests when they did the 2nd one in a row!!
Went back to trying to enjoy f-a-r-m-i-n-g!!
But BP has taken a lot of the fun out of it now.....:sleepy::(:sleepy::(-.-8)

Arielh said it best, in the fewest words, in her post above!!!;)

At first I was actually excited to see that there was an event on Bahamarama and my regular farm would be able to do some normal farming. Then came this set of temporary quests.

Everyone is tired of the nonstop litany of events. There have been multiple posts asking you to slow down and stop piling on event after event after event. What makes you think that making more short time, stressful events when many people have other priorities is the answer?

Frankly, speaking for myself, I'm also sick to death of giver items that require upgrades. Like most game mechanisms that were once new and interesting, it's now overused, abused and downright boring. Stop grasping and start listening to your players already.

Agree with what all have said. I have no interest in:

    1. giver items require multiple upgrades (let alone being told you must buy the final upgrades)
    2. multiple events with huge requirements designed to get people to buy stuff or work on a "game" all day
    3. repeated linked events/FSQ that make everything too complex and exhausting to complete.

This "game" is becoming less and less enjoyable for me. I will not work toward upgrades in any of these type of events or buy items to complete multiple events.

It's all been said. The fun is being slowly squeezed out of events - even those that we look forward to cos they have always been enjoyable are now tedious, long-winded and virtually impossible to complete. I used to love all events and would attempt each and every one but not any more. I was mistaken at first thinking this one looked reasonable - until I saw what was required for the Fruit Cups and I too walked away without a second glance. :)

In future I will check all events for feasibility. If I can't complete them in relaxed manner, I won't even be trying. Especially not with the prizes that are being put on offer for such high stakes. :(

At the risk of repeating what we have all said before, if you are trying to make us put our hands in our pockets, you are definitely going about it all wrong! -.-

I am also out. Asking for 52800 crops for the first quest is ridiculous! BORING!! I am not tearing up my farm to grow Pitcher Posies, instead I am going to try to build up my crops & stock which really needs it. With events on top of each other my inventory to going down & prices in market are going up & up! I use to look forward to events as a break in growing but now it is way out of hand. Much rather sit back & relax while restocking my barn.
PS Also dislike the giver items with upgrades esp when you have to buy the final three.

I agree with everything that has been said.

This event is too long, too many things to grow and need to buy the last upgrades to finish. No way!

I will use the BBs that I have and am not buying more. I didn't buy the last 2 special stables, I am done on that, not buying baskets, trees, tickets, nothing.

Wow, it would be wonderful if the "Powers that Be" actually read our feedback as I didn't see a single positive comment.

I did start doing quest as I hadn't time to read and digest the rewards so just started planting, harvesting etc. But now I'm happy to burn my fields and plant a useful overnight crop instead. ;)

I refuse to participate in your pay-to-play "free farming game" event. Even after your shuffling around of this event crop for that barn item and lets add more things to donate for more ho-hum rewards. How is a newer player supposed to have a fighting chance when veterans can't even get anywhere. Watch your toes Dark Overlords; they have been going over "the line" alot lately.

I have actually been doing the quest- with a harvester. I got the harvester for reasons other than the quest.

I don't think the reward is worth the effort of a long quest, hence many farmers opting out. I would have easily finished part one if I had been able to farm every day. I was not able to farm for 5 days in a row unexpectedly.

This type of quest would really be better if part 1 continued while part 2 was added, and then run 1,2,3 all at the same time. In this way, players could do a very leisurely quest (part 1) over an entire 30 days. It would also allow you to do weeks 2 and 4 only if something prevented you from doing all the quests. Which part to work on would be an opportunity for some strategy.

Didn't start on any of my farms. I was trying for water drops and with this event I wouldn't have even made it is as far as I did and that wasn't finished. This is getting crazy for amount of crops that are being demanded.

I am sick and tired of givers because there is no place to put them!! They end up in my inventory and it is already full:(
