Full moon event

    Is moonlight madness a "full moon event"? If so, how do I breed bats? I tried and got a message that they were locked until the next full moon event.

    and when is the next full moon event if it isn't now?

    Hi :) Yes, this is a moonlight mania or full moon event. Unfortunately you can't automatically breed bats (and crows) during moonlight mania. But there is the option to unlock bat and/or crow breeding during moonlight mania in Jack's shop. You can see the requirements here.

    Once the bat/crow breeding is unlocked you can breed bats/crows anytime, not only during moonlight mania :)

    ok, so I got to Jack's shop, but it doesn't give me the opportunity to buy anything. (the buy button is greyed out)

    I think I have to buy the first 10 of each crop from there, yes?

    I think I got it... It is only letting me see the crops on my main farm area (ie: not in the magic glade or elsewhere)

    nadine_62, you need to click on the event timer (on the left side of the screen that tells you how much time is left on an event), then click on the Moonlight Mania timer itself. This will take you to the "Moonlight" field. Your field needs to be empty of mainland crops to then be able to plant Moonlight crops. You don't buy the crops from Jack's Shop. You should be given 10 each of any crop you didn't already have. (If it is your first MM, then there should be 10 of each.) Once you grow enough MM crops, you will be able to trade them in (in Jack's Shop) for various items there. You can only access Jack's Shop and the MM crops from this "Moonlight" field. You can only choose to grow either mainland crops or MM crops in this field at this time, not both. I hope this helps.

    Spooky crops are automatically refreshed if you ever drop below 10, you can't buy them. You can only plant the crops when on "moonlight" mode, click the event timer. you can also enter Jack's hop when in moonlight mode.

    Ok. I finally got it. What threw me was having to plant them in my main field. Thanks for all your help.
