Full speed ahead

The factories give a regular bonus once they are unlocked. Power feed from the red, party spins from the green and golden bananas from the blue. There is a timer to show when you can collect the next bonus

Edit: Would somebody explain why we have to access the factories twice? I keep reading and looking for an explanation. Think I better understand it better before I decide which path to take. Thanks

 

We only open the factories once @julie1013 , to harvest the first prize from them, and to start their timers so we can access them later and get the same prize again every time they are ready to harvest.

Opening the factories gives us access to the buildings/prizes in the buildings... but each building requires a different combo of 2 different colored factories to be opened (red/green, red/blue, blue/green), which... from looking at the requirement list on the FAQ may be the reason it looks like we need to access the factories twice.

Now that I've typed that out, it seems extra confusing. Hope it makes sense to you, lol...

I fell asleep before harvesting my 3 fields of Blooming Hardwood and planting long crops last night, so now I'm stuck waiting for drops. Oh well, too late now so I'll just grow hardwood all day and catch up on drops later. Would have been nice to get that green factory open for party tickets tho

You are correct Mooboy, I did mean I had grown all the crops for the alchemist's garden, not finished the event.

Why can I not get the Iron Horse? No button to donate...

 

@Bhodho ... The tile with the Iron Horse giver requires that you open the Green factory and Blue factory first (as indicated by the 2 little icons at the bottom of the tile).
In this pic I only have the Green factory open so far.

 

This event for me isn't "Full Steam a Head" it's not even "On Track", it's more "Off the Rails" I am ofc confident and optimistic. I just don't know any better. Ignorance is bliss.

I'll see if I can't get rid of some weed and change those tracks that have too much tare and wear. Good luck to us all!

 

Thank you Mir85, I have done all the black tiles as you laid out, so I now have the Red and the Green factories open and 2 trains!
I am now working on the 2 blue tiles #4 and #6 which will get me the Ghost train and the Blue Factory! Then on to the 4 Red!

 

Yikes - I forgot about the factories giving.... I have only been accumulating crops and drops for this event so far and haven't contributed yet RL and 2 events at once has my focus distracted. Been focusing on Alchemists garden more.
Lol and behold MM happens tomorrow - 2 events plus MM.

 

I changed tracks and took a little detour after I opened the Green factory lol . I decided since I'm waiting on drops in order to move ahead and I'm dead set on growing all 23,140 Blooming Hardwoods and finishing the entire event anyway that I'd go ahead and do tiles 5, 7 and 8 that needed crop donations now. The 2 extra train givers in the buildings will have to wait on drops and tracks , then once I've opened those I'll work on opening up the rest of the tiles .

I like this event... I just dislike waiting for drops

I'm all over I do have all the factories or whatever opened to collect from them so I'm happy with that but some how I feel like I'm behind in crops but I could just be confused in what I'm adding up. Figured that I still need between 1,000-1,100 drops still Better check my math Hopefully tomorrow I will get something beside Tentacle trees from my Eerie trees

 

I have 3 tracks (crops only) left to open before I'll start collecting crops and drops for the CR and the extra neat trains. Despite the high requirements, equal to Robot Dance, I guess I'm doing okay.

Drops are bad on my farm too I can't even get past the first few black route tiles. Waiting on drops for the Alchemist event too. so sloooooooow.

 

I do hope event goes onto 4th May as it says on May's callender as if not I will not complete event, drops are totally pathetic..

As Ive said elsewhere BP want us to buy the new 'drop' CR if thats the case and I cant complete events then I dont complete them then so be itas Im not spending money on something I now require to finish events I could finish on time previously

 

Has everyone seen that May Preview Calendar??!! Are they k-I-d-d-I-n-g??! How many events - and running at the same times???
I have a Life. I'd like some time to live it.

Note to BP....
-This is not Fun anymore - too much s-t-r-e-s-s.
-I may be a new farm, but I feel burned out already.
-I think I'll just go back to my farm and try to f-a-r-m.

grumble grumble grumble where's the FUN?
