G & T grace period

How long is the grace period indicated in the FAQs after the event, going to last?
I am probably not the only one going to work (or sleep, etc) and who is wondering if I should cancel my offers before I leave.

I don't need an exact answer, but is is going to be in the neighborhood of 12 -24 hours?

 

i'd just leave it in for the next time it will already be in there?

 

The FAQs are not clear on that. Besides, I don't want to tie everything up that long.

There is no grace period. The FAQ is an older version and will be updated. If offers were not cancelled before G&T ended, you have to wait for the Game Team to run a script to book the items back.

I see, so even though I posted this message well before the event was over, even though you had time to respond to other messages, you could not be bothered to respond to mine? And, even aside from that.. the event had already gone on for a full day before I posted that message, letting people know that they had to cancel orders or they would lose their items.. that was not critical information?



So can you at least tell me for how long am I going to lose my items?

As I posted already, the Game Team will run a script to book back all offers + licenses that were not cancelled before the Event finished.

I would accept that answer, except that several other posts were answered. You decided to skip over mine.... even a "we have to look into this" would have been decent.
You waited until it was too late to matter to respond. No one had responded and the FAQs had not been updated 2 hours before the end of the event.

Aside from that, this was clearly something of concern to more than just me, even though I was apparently the only one who questioned it. With time that close, this is something that would have warranted a mass announcement as soon as you knew there was an issue. It would have been too late for me, since I left at that point, but at least other people would have seen it. That part may have been beyond you, but you could have taken steps to at least ask that it happen... and say so.

You could answer the question. I asked how long my items were going to be held up.
Mine and anyone else who believed the FAQs. ...

I apologise for the late reply. Despite your frustration though, I will ask you kindly to please be respectful with the Mod Team. If they lovely Team would have gotten an answer from me, they would have informed you - so I am the one who has to apologise for the absence.

The items and licenses for the offers that remained available have all been restored by a script at 4 AM this morning, so by the time of your post you already had them all back into your inventory.

I will make sure this part of the FAQ gets corrected - I must admit I have missed this.

Not having an answer is understandable. I definitely got that part. And I understand that information is not always given out by the main team, never mind that you all have lives to live and cannot instantly get to the information. However, there is a big difference between ignoring a post and just saying "1/we cannot fix this/don't have the answer, but are looking into it.." a HUGE difference.

Not answering a question and saying "is there anything else" is also beyond frustrating. Even the fact that they were already in my inventory... all I saw was repeated posts also asking "where is my stuff, when will it come?" And I did not see my items until later.

 

We will make sure it doesn't happen again, I am really sorry.
