G&T link gone from news page?

Hi!

I tried to access the Gift and Trade link to send a tree and it's gone! I checked on each of the areas I've opened and I can't find it anywhere. The events page says this isn't supposed to end until Monday. Is this a glitch?

Could you refresh the game and check again, please? I can see the Gift & Trade news layer (3rd one), as well as the timer in the event timer - you can open it from both locations without problems.

The event is indeed going on for over 40 hours still.

Did refreshing help? Can we assist you further?

I refreshed and can see it in the event timer but still can't see it on the news tab. I'm going to log out, run CCleaner and log back in. I'll let you know if that fixes things.

It still doesn't work. I closed my browser, ran CCleaner and then logged into my other farm I play via Bigfish. I can't see the G&T link from the events/news tab there either. I closed and cleaned again, then logged back into this farm. Still no luck.

This is what I can see: Happy Discount Day, New Year's Festivities, A Winter's Tale IV, Winter Season, and Monlight Mania. The event timer works (thank goodness!) but the main tab doesn't.

Should I post this in the technical issues thread now?

Very odd . There shouldn't be a difference anyway in the events news layer when it comes to playing via Bigfishgames, you could only notice differences when it comes to payment matters and account features.

Thank you for confirming that this affects both your farms, and for going through these troubleshooting steps. Since the event timer is working, and you can access the event through it, there's no need to open another thread on this topic. The game team will be looking into this after the weekend, since the event doesn't end until Monday afternoon.

The news page doesn't show more than 5 events at a time. When there are more than that, not all will show up, I have noticed that before too. I checked mine and it also didn't show G&T. After logging out and then in, I now have the G&T announcement, but now the winter calendar announcement is gone.

I'm good, teddy.bear. I'm glad to hear that it's not just my computer or farm. I would like to hear what the game team finds out on Monday when they dig in, but no rush.

 

There is nothing for the team to dig in, since it turned out there was no issue with your account(s) - the mystery was kindly explained by -Mir85- . All we can do is forward a suggestion to have all the events displayed, should the team consider this necessary in the future.
