I just remember my very first Gift and Trade Everyone was so helpful and kind, so every time it comes around I'm still paying it forward.

You know the funny thing is, I got rid of all my XXL Apple trees awhile back as apples were so cheap to buy. Now the price has risen and I don't have a one . And I'm not trading a Blackthorn for one

 

Apples have been high on my market for a while now - I know that we'll need them for the upcoming quest, but 50CC seems high for the most inexpensive of all the fruit trees...

I want to thank all of you who gifted and traded with me during the event. KMellish, TCRooster, ArielH, Abubadi and others were all so very generous and this was a huge help to my little start up farm!

 

You need apples for so many things though. They are in many types of feed, plus the jelly and then also for events. Just seems like I go through them like crazy. I scored a large amount right after the rodeo babies event of 500 for 25CC and I've already used up most of them. Sorry off topic....

I had to go and look up the water tower item as I didn't know what either one of those objects were. Yes it was a very silly trade offer indeed. My take away from this was that the two single most sought after items were Blackthorn plum and Reindeer stalls. That's discounting all the new stuff that was not eligible.

 

I for one am glad that this thread is here so we can laugh and joke about these offers. I am very sympathetic to the feelings of others especially new players, children, and those with mental and emotional challenges. Gee - I have one of those myself.

With this being said, those of us who have been around the block a few times - say for 5 years now - need a place to laugh off our frustrations and laughter is the best way to reduce frustration. It is extremely frustrating to go through all the trades just to find 1 that is resemble. I used to have hours and hours to search through all the ridicules offers, but these days, I just do not have the time. Now I have 80 exchange license. I have never bought any. These are just saved up since there are so few offers that are reasonable.

I applaud, my dear Twisted Sister for starting this thread and giving me some of the best laughs. Thanks-you and I hope your feelings rebound soon. I know that you just want to help everyone laugh and be happy. Sadly, we just can't always do that. We have both been on this forum for too many years. We have shared many many grand days laughing on this forum when are RL were not so happy. We both know that we can't please everyone all the time, but we can strive to bring Peace, Happiness and Laughter to as many people as possible. Thank You for the Laughs!

I meant to share my "favorite" exchange. A Pink animal (Can't remember which) that I already had to be traded for an XXL Maple. I thought. I have an XXL Maple. How lucky can I get? I went to make the trade to find out that the person wanted 6 XXL Maples. No way was I gone to do that.

I also want to apologize. I was gone to make some last minute random gifts to people that I care about, but RL got in the way of my farming again. I did not make it back home in time. Instead, I will let those I care about know that I care about you! I hope you'all know who you are.

Seems the biggest laugh is on all of us who did not know we had to cancel our offers before the event was over. Seems the FAQs were wrong so our items are going to be held in limbo for who knows how long.

EDIT... I was mistaken. Items were returned in short order.

 

Woody it's ok don't stress, the items as well as the tickets will be returned to our inventory once they do a reset ... I sent a message to customer care and was told this this morning .... because i panicked when i got up it was all over

 

You can get a bat roost by doing part of the cloud row quest and save your MM for other things

I traded a Buddah tree for a Mission Imbukable II. Would have been a great trade if it wasn't for the fact the item came as an upgrade. I only have one base + upgrade so it is useless for me. What comes around goes around, I guess

Haha this thread has made me chuckle; some of the offers I saw were hilarious. However, someone put up a trade: a squirrel hut for a wolf den... I snapped that up straight away! Now I have two wolf dens, which I did not previously have before the event cc's here I come!!!

 

I wish I could trade a Buddha statue for anything - including the infamous apple tree

 

LOL BeeDance, I sold my Buddha statue back for a whopping 1000cc. I used one of the free tickets to do that.

 

Oh gee Clash, I didn't even think about that! It is totally useless on the farm. I have a large pond that is a deco only too. Next time around I'll get something out of them! Thanks!

"By golly", can't believe anyone would trade/sell their Buddha statue. He brings peace and good fortune to the Farm, and has been a feature on my Baha for quite a while now, so not trading him for anything.

When they introduced the new Bahama there was a rumor that the Buddha statue would be needed to unlock certain parts, which turned out to be nonsense. But who knows? Maybe now it's the time for dear little Buddha to hit the spotlight
