Game not responding properly

The last few days I have had issues with the game not responding, or just sitting and spinning.
I have exited the game and restarted my computer several times just to get a few tasks completed. I constantly have to exit etc, when I try to go from one area to another. I also have been trying to place a Menagerie on the Magical Glade, but it just keeps showing the 'builder-guy jackhammering'. I have cleared by browsing data and cleared cookies, but this has not helped.
I have had issues with your game on occasion before, but it usually straightens itself out. I have noticed that there are usually more issues when the game has too many things going on at the same time.

I've now cleared your cache from game side. Please, if you already logged in after you last time cleared your browser cache and cookies, do so again before logging in. Let's see if this helps at all.

It is quite common to have little lagging game especially when a new event starts and just before it ends as traffic increases on those times. Maybe that's what it has been previous times?

It didn't help, as I still cannot place the menagerie on the field. I have waited 15-20 minutes and it still isn't working. I waited for a couple of hours and it still would not let me place it on the field, it just kept spinning. Everything else is working fine. So, I tried to place the menagerie on my main farm and it worked. This doesn't make any sense at all !!!!

Ah, it seems you had already maximum amount of menageries on your magical glade. You can only have 5 same type of storage houses on one playfield. The 6th menagerie needs to be placed on another playfield due to that rule.

I guess that was the cause of the loading flower issue. For some reason the game doesn't check the playfield items while you open the inventory and choose the item. Only when you try to place it, it sees the max and thus won't allow the placement. There should be a error popup coming up when that is the case, but it seems that one is missing.
