Garden card event, node plays game with insufficient cards

Hope you can help. I'm stuck playing one of the final nodes (can't check which while writing this). It's the one to the right of the repeatable node that gives 14 blue coins. If memory serves me right, it gives a 'super' (brown) party ticket (for which you need 3 before being able to turn the wheel).
I've played above-mentioned node, the only card left is a '9'. Three rows of nines are done, the one waiting for the nine however has a top card showing a six. Do I have to replay the game? If I do, will I get the same glitch?

Also the 'show a card' button is grey, so unusable.
I made a screenshot, but have no idea how to copy that here. Will keep the screenshot in case you need it.
