Great. I always wanted a thread for Event - Market Strategy. As the only thing that will sell good in this game is the manure, I will start from it. Its still in 22 CCs. So I buy & use them to get maximum harvest while the Farming Machine is active or till my coupouns last. waiting for the price rise to produce & sell manure.

 

Hi, In my market 21 when event started manure was selling @5.25cc's with well over 2,300 offers.
when all that was bought up it was steadily going up and last night it was selling for 10.00cc's And
this morning there is NONE to be found. I am sure when I can see any, the price will be greedily high! I get that people want and need cc's but it really get bad in this market!
There should be some way during events farmers could store a little more than 300 at a time!

 

I went to check the poo prices around here. There was 5 offers, but before I managed to see what it was someone had flushed. Just as well I think. I do except Gold leaves to rise a bit more as more and more people get a spooky glowworm (forgot the proper name) and need feed for it. They will compete with those making normal glow worms - which I think has been a stable number of players. At the moment one of the regular sellers that offers a medium price point has the lower bid.

Now what could be cheap these days ? Not apples it is 180 cc for one apple with an apple worm in it. I think I need to sell a few.

 

In my market chickens are selling for 945 CCs. Any idea why ?

 

999 here, I think it's due to the past breeding events, and the supply hasn't picked up yet. A lot of people are trying for a few rooms here and there. I personally except the prices of chicks to drop when the poo rises and doesn't get bought up asap.

 

I took a walk in the market today, been igging it. And all I have to say is what happened?
The prices on everything have hit the roof, over a mill. for a roasting turkey?!? I took a peek at the pink puppy, yeah, over 28 mill. at them prices I will crawl back in my hole and grow trees.

So I figured I would go over to products..... ok crops? 300cc for a cabbage.

I knew this whole vegan thing would go bad, the flamingos started it, now getting meat for themselves the tigger and now the shark all on the down low is reeking havoc for everyone.
Hope the game slows down or them prices will make it impossible for a new farmer to play, myself I picked a great time to become a crop farmer.

 

945 is normal for chickens on my market. I have no idea why. Normally they fluctuate from 950-1200ccs. On occasion they get down to 800ish. Can't figure that one out. Gotta be something.

 

Chickens are 1255.49 on Market 4!!! Only 21 offers available at the moment, with the high price 1,367.81!! (......wish this crop-growing would get finished so I could grow ...chickens!!)

Edit: 10 offers just got listed for 867.09....

 

wow, I just checked chicken prices on my farm..
The lowest us 1474.76 Highest 1764
There are only 18 offers.
Does someone know something I don't???

 

One explaination for the prize jump: Think chicken .. think eggs! Think eggs .. think frogs!
Recent breeding needed loads and loads of frogs, which feed is made with eggs. Huge demand. Egg price exploded (about + 800% within 2 weeks). Ever since, due to the breeding and replenish purposes, now still a shortage of eggs .. chicken in high demand.

 

In my Market Chickens only Cost 600 CC to buy they been more or less at this price for some time never been over 900 CC for long time

It is interesting that Chickens Selling for over 1200 CC, It is stating the Fact that Chickens are not in ample supply with the Higher Selling Price compared to Lower Chicken Prices at 600 CC whereas Chickens seems to be in more ample supply in my market !!

 

371 listings of parrot feathers at my market and I had to scroll down to page 22 to find a price matching the EV, which again kinda confirm my suspicion my market isn't really hot. Slow to pick up trends and doesn't spike high.

I have to confess I got a bit tempted to buy some feathers now

 

I've been trying to play carrot. Only to get sidetracked by lettuce. Those two items go +/- 10CC within few hours for a couple of days. Didn't realize it was fluctuating that bad. I need to get up earlier in the morning Hate mornings Early bird catches the biggest worm, but why on earth would I want a worm when I can have sleep

 

slightly off topic here, but how in the world do you know which market you are in? I keep looking and I don't see any number or indication anywhere. I have been playing for several months so I am assuming that I am not still in market 1. Assuming that there are advantages to going to a higher market?

Also, looking for the "vent board". I have some things to say about the milk situation and that cat food is changing. I have been quietly buying cats and milk to sell later when the prices went through the roof! BP could have made their announcement a month earlier and saved me some CC's!

 

You are "assigned" a market when you sign up. This doesn't change. It have no importance really, it's just different players are on different markets. (more a server thing) Here's a thread about it .
As for the changing feed, we can agree the news could have been posted earlier. However there has been speculation about this to change, check out the grapevine, as this has happen before.

But I'm sure you can sell your milk with profit if /when there's the annual Harvest Hoedown. I'm confident there will be one. There are some seriously stuffed barns that need emptying.

I found that I am in market 7. YAY! so glad I know now. I liked -Mir85- 's option better though (found here)
ID # %32 and having google find the rest number for you (IE: 53243905%32 ) (using my ID #) = 1. that way I didn't have to deal with all the math..
used all my milk in farmer society (was going to use it for cat feed then double checked to see if it could be used for something else). earned a lot of stars and now my tree is almost complete. wishing I had added more poo slots. too late now..
I am sure that nothing will happen with the venting since there is a rumor thread (I personally never visited it until today). they would simply pointed me to that thread and said I should have known.. I had only read about the upcoming cat breeding. oh well..

So I got excited and bought some poo thought it was 168.33 ccs. So I bought a load of poo. Manured my fields went back bought some more. Then realized it was 800cc They put the expire time where the price used to be
