I just got to Bahamarama and i'm looking for FS tasks that would be a good starting point. Can anyone help advise me which ones to start with?

First, unlock the Parrot House and
    Complete the Feathery Fiasco quest.

Then unlock Field 1-2-3-4 and Crystal Falls Area 1-2 statues.

Unlock the Rainforest in the Tree of Wisdom. Requires 250 Stars.
Complete social quests to unlock additional areas in Crystal Falls.

Then if you need help we are here :).

Do you know how to respond to in game messages? It's helpful when neighbors want to communicate - for example asking which type of daily gift you prefer, and asking about your particular goals at any time. Look for a pigeon sitting on the Farm Map post. Click on the bird (who's bringing messages from your neighbors), and you can respond by clicking 'reply'.

As Chamomile mentions, opening those areas and other playing fields will allow you to have enough space to plant crops, place critters and trees. I don't know your playing style, but it seems to me that a good number of new players are disappointed when they are unable to complete weekly events and eventually leave the game, because they prefer a faster pace. As Farmers.Almanac mentioned in another thread begun by you, there are many different ways to play the game - there is no one size fits all. Wishing you a good experience in the game.
