Gift and Message Shower for ImTypo (Typolicious)

Hi all!

I wanted to swing by and recruit your help to cheer up an old friend of ours! ImTypo (better known as Typolicious on the old forum) is once again in the hospital and having a rough go of it! She is hoping that they can get her medicine levels sorted out soon so she can go home again to her daughters. (I believe she has two, but my memory is fuzzy there)

Anyway, many of you will remember how she recruited us to help her give away a Moose Music Hall on the old forum, and then not too long after, ended up in the hospital with a bad fever that was not responding to treatment. (We prayed, sent her lots of love and her fever broke!)


She has since shared that she has Lupus and goes in frequently for dialysis, but that it is rough as her body does not like the process.

Usually she does not have her computer, but this time she does! She should be in the hospital for another day or two while they get her medicine levels sorted out. She is so tired of the hospital and just wants to go home! She also admits to having a new baby kitten and missing her terribly! (So much so that she aches to hold her and would jump at the chance to trade the computer for the kitty!!) She really wishes she could just cuddle up, be purred and snuggled to sleep, and work on healing....

Since I can't bring the kitty to her (CA is a bit far away for me to drive!!) I thought that perhaps some of us could post some pictures, prayers, or messages here, some could send her an IGM (in-game mail) of encouragement, and others might just want to send her some loving in the form of gifts...

Whatever you are most comfortable with ~ she is a sweet, sweet gal (pink hair and all), loves life and has a beautiful personality!

But I will start us out with a prayer!

Lord, I simply love Typo! I love her heart, her flair for life - she is just a really cool gal! I thank you that you are with her and ask that you would help her be aware of your presence. I also ask that your power and love would touch and heal her body. I know people who have been healed of lung cancer, fibromyalgia, a heart murmur, and just last month, a guy from our church (who for three years could not close his hand), had his hand restored! You do not change. The miracles you did before, you still do. This is not too hard for you. So I simply ask that you work your will in her life.

I also pray that you would bring your love and comfort to her in a real way. I know it is rough when all you want to do is be at home with your loved ones and be able to relax and recover, so I pray you would bring special grace to her right now. Let her rest in your peace and your love... like baby chicks hide and snuggle under the wings of it's mother, in the same way may she nestle up to you Father and find rest and comfort in you during this time. I thank you for all the ways you are working in her life, and I pray for you to touch her life in a powerful way! I ask this all in Jesus name, Amen!

Hi ImTypo......I remember you! I hear you're not feeling too well.....I am greatly sorry to hear this and pray for strength and recovery for you! You need to get home to snuggle that new kitty of yours!
We also have a new kitten, Zackary. My son Grant asked for one for his Birthday in late October. Zackary is orange with green eyes...and has so much personality!!! Being the baby to our other grown up cats doesn't bother him in the least. He just runs and jumps on them...begging them to play with him!

I hope you are still enjoying farming....it's gotten a bit crazy lately....event, new tree, event, new animal, new quest, event....and so on! I'm up very early (for me) so what did I decide to do....that's right! Turn on the puter....and harvest and replant the jute! I don't know why? But it seems like a race to finish the event plants, each and every time! LOL

I sincerely hope and pray you feel better and may return home very soon....and would love for you to post to us again! I've missed your fun and lively posts on the forum!!! Hugs

CJAT - Thanks for letting us know of Typo's recent health struggle....and I am trying to be "verbose" too! LOL

 

Thank you both sooooo very much..it really does mean so much to hear words of encouragement!!

I usually try to not get too down and instead think of all the things Im gonna get done when I get home like farming or crafts with the kids and stuff..but this time I was able to bring my computer which Im super greatful for..but since I just got my new kitten Im feeling worried she may forget me or even worse miss me and cry..She is played with by my two kids (a daughter and a son lol) but during the day when they are in school and then homework and then bedtime she is put in the bathroom cause she cant be unsupervised with the other cats yet..my brother has two that are not happy about her and tried to eat her so she needs to be watched cause she thinks they are great play friends..lol

She is black with white paws and a white heart on her tummy(Its a perfect heart!!) She sleeps on my chest every time she naps or goes to bed..It makes me feel like Im healing from her purrs as crazy as that sounds


It is true about all the events,tress and animals..I cant keep up anymore ..its a tiny bit frustrating..I didnt get the rooster,wolf or a tons of new other stuff..I also missed two main events..so its felt like Im always playing catch up..lol!! I really hope I will finish this one ..seems to be going ok and since I have my computer here I should be able to

As for my kids are wonderful and always try and help me through the struggles so honestly I cant complain about anything ..I do wish though that I spent less time here and more at home..somedays it feels like Im always here and this is one of those days so thank you for the words of encouragement and the cute story of your kitty too !! Things like that are what helps me get through this way faster


I would love any silly stories anyone has..something funny,dorky or just flat out nuts that has happened..maybe a crazy thanksgiving catastrophe or one nearly overted..a story of kids or animals doing funny things


Thanks again for being such a great community ..I have invested in this game so much but the friendships I have gained payed back a million times over!!!!

Sorry for the random babbling..I am a bit here and there cause of the people coming in and out of my room for IV's and stuff,but basically just wanted to say how much I appreciated you all

 

Hi ImTypo, I remember you, too! Quite a while back we exchanged a few IGMs during a particularly drop-challenging event.

I remember your cheerfulness and sense of fun in particular. I also remember how touched I was at your Moose Music Hall forum campaign for a deserving farmer!

I am truly sorry to hear about your current struggles. I wish for you love, healing, peace, and for you to feel warmly embraced by your friends and well-wishers as you recover. Godspeed in your jouney toward health, home, family, and kitty cat!!

If I didnt care so much(whic I do care a great deal) about allergies for others I would have my kids smuggle my kitten into the hospital for some cuddles lol..I cant wait to get home to hold her (her name is Tippy)and hear her cute purrs !! Thanks for helping me get there with the prayers <3

 

Typo, I wish you a speedy recovery and return to your little Tippy. I also remember you giving away your moose music hall, such a lovely gesture that made me realise what lovely people are on this forum.

Hi ImTypo. Reading your post about missing your new kitten brought a tear to my eye and I'm not even a cat person! I very much hope you feel better soon and can get back to your kitten and kids. If you let me have a list of things you've missed out on getting I'll send you what I can if we ever get another G&T!!! Make the catching up a bit quicker.

 

Hi I'm Typo, yes I remember you also! wondered where you got off to, now we know. I can totally relate to what you said about kitty purrs like healing, you know the companionship and unconditional love they give does exactly that, heals. I once had one of the sweetest well behaved cats i'd ever seen, with one exception... he loved biting the buttons on my bathrobe i guess they looked like candy to him. he would know he was going to be in trouble but he would squinch his eyes shut lay back those ears and bite those buttons anyhow lol.
I called him zekeears, he disappeared and though we searched for him for weeks we never did find him, I like to think he found another family that needed him. you have my prayers for speedy recovery and to be re united with loved ones and get as much cuddles and purrs as possible. ((( hugs))))

 

Hi ImTypo - we don't know each other, but your story has already pulled at my heart strings. I, too, am a cat lover! Three of them.

Molly (a tortie) who used to be possessed. She had crazy eyes. She is the matriarch of the three cats. She hates the other two, but loves them. When they snuggle up, she growls at them as she licks them clean. I believe Molly is part dog. She growl when the doorbell rings and must go check out who is at the door. She digs holes. And stands protectively near me if there is a dog close by.

Then there's Tiger (a big black Bombay) who is a huge baby. He has bear claws, and lion's teeth, but cowers at everything. Poor misguided, syrupy thing. He lays on Molly, cause he could care less what she thinks of him as long as he gets his bath. When I'm outside, he will run up behind me and tap my thighs, then run away expecting to be chased. Yep - he likes to play tag with me. Scares me every time! He has to sit on my shoulders as I brush my teeth, not realizing that those bear claws are intense!

And then there's little Autumn. The baby. Found in a dumpster with her mama and three siblings. Only Autumn and another of the patched tabbies made it.

Autumn is the only one who hunts the mice and the birds. She catches the prey and sits idly by as she watches the other two cats play with it. Usually, we are able to rescue the little things and release them in a nearby field. She likes to sit on chairs until Molly walks by, and then she pounces on her. She used to be bullied, but I think she has become the bully now and picks on Molly something terrible.

When I sleep at night, IF I let them in my room, Molly sleeps on my feet, Tiger curls around my head on the pillow, and Autumn snuggles right under my arm and pokes her nose under my chin. Can I sleep well? No. As the owner, do I move them out of the way? Heavens no!

We know who (or should I say little whos) run the house.

I stand in agreement with CJAT's prayer. God is our healer, and I am praying for you and your little ones. God bless you with supernatural healing, peace, strength, and joy! Hugs to you!

I remember you from the old forum too and you have been a benefactor to my farm during G/T. I hope you will let us know what you may need next G/t comes around. I am sure we can find things you may need as long as they are included in the event.

I pray for your healing and that all goes as well as can be expected during your hospital stay. Hopefully it won't be too long and you can return home to your family and kitty. I am glad you have your computer to help pass the time while you are there.

We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and they each add such great joy to our family. My husband and children would love to add more but I feel that we have enough. We do feed strays that come by -- some come only a few times and we never see them again. We have one cat who only comes around when she has kittens. We now have an orange/white cat who visits our door often and would like affection more than food. If we were looking for another pet, he would be ideal. He must like the food or affection he receives as he sometimes also brings a friend with him. Though we cannot touch the latest visitor, he is hungry and I am sure appreciates a meal during this nasty weather we are having. Many people around here do not keep their pets inside and so we don't really know which animals are truly homeless and which may just be mooches and opportunity snackers.

As for the event, what do you need most? CAC/PJ? Event drops? Santa hat? Holiday Present? If you will either post back here or send an IGM, I will send you something at the gift reset time-- just want to be sure to send you what you need most.

Im Typo, I was only thinking of you yesterday! I was going through my enormous list of neighbours/buddies to send gifts and I came across your name and was wondering how you were. I am sorry to hear you are back in hospital - a bit of good luck that you can take your farm with you!

I am sure that you were one of the two farmers who asked me to find good homes for Music Hall Mooses a while ago! That was a job and a half.

I haven't got any pets at the moment but we feed the wild birds and throw any leftover meat out for the stray cats that come out at night around here. I will write about my previous furry friends' antics a bit later on.

Just wanted to say that I wish you a speedy recovery and a quick return to the cute little bundle of fur.

I am going home tomorrow(well today now since it's almost 6am now lol)!!!! Thankfully things seem to be managable from home now so after a few more blood draws and fun stuff like that I will be sent packing YAY

I'm dying to see my Tippy and of course my kids lol

I am going to attempt a fast nap before the vampires (aka blood draw peoplez) come and get me or my blood pressure cuff awakens me

A bit late with posting this I know (words do not come as easily for me),
but my thoughts and prayers were with you.
It makes me happy to hear you will soon be back with your family and have Tippy snuggling upon your chest once again (she will be all over you, letting you know how much she missed you! I can hear those gigantic purrs now)
I'm not exactly sure who befriended who, but I do remember your kind, fun filled and very optimistic attitude !

Hi Typo

I remember some of your posts from the old forum, but I didn't post much myself then.

I am more of a dog person, than a cat person myself. I don't have any animals now, but my family used to have a dog, Bella. My parents house is very close to a forest, and I would often take her for walks there. I would let her loose, and she would run into the woods to explore, but she would come back to me every few minutes.

Sometimes when she had been gone for a bit longer, and didn't come when I called her, I would call out "bye, bye, I am going home, bye bye". Then she would come back to me as fast as a lighting bolt, not wanting to be left alone in the forest

PS. How are you doing with the event?
