gift cards

ok as you all know now whats going on with me... i am wanting to know has anyone tried the gift cards from the dollar store or cvs..... i dont need any other cards that will charge fees... i cant deal with them costs... most gift cards i know of is just gift cards.... you get a 20 dollar for 20 dollars... i can try to get one tommrow... as it may be last day of work for awhile... i just found that out...so if useing regular gift cards to buy things in game works... then i will buy...and solve my issue right away... otherwise... it will be on BP... till i can make other ways of doing this... which by the choices i have it will be slim chance i will be back if they close it out...

 

Hi, I have used "DOLLAR GENERAL CARDS" with no fees,but my favorite gift card is from Subway ,also with no fees, and you can use every last penny on each subway card, for example, say you have $2.99 left on a card and you need another $2.00 well if you have a 2nd new subway gift card you can just get the other $2.00 from it! And then you can use the balance at another time! I hope this makes sense to you! Good luck!

 

I stopped using my credit card for game purchases years ago. I always use gift cards and try to keep a few on hand for "shopping emergencies" I use Subway cards. They're easy to use, and easy to find in stores. (Of course, different countries will have different options.)

 

yes i was thinkin DG store card but then again subway isnt a bad thought as i like to get food there all the time...

Oh we can use more then one? you know i was checking things out and i just forgot.... but yea i seen some place we can do that... so since you said it here.... it must be this game we can do that add like 5 or so many cards forgot limit if any.... shoot all this typing and i got game in another window to look....lol

yes it is limit of 5... i am trying a subway ecard now..... waiting for email to confirm and i should get number.... i hope ecards works too... i dont see why not...

thank you both for the info... it helps me alot... and to also know i can start saving.... i got this netspend card and i think it not only cost me like 4 dollars to load... but 1 dollar each use... i got it for this game only but had to use it for something else.... the temp card worked fine.... its the card with my name that started this mess with BP system.... but i got to thinking while filling out subway ecard.... my pc system has a old card number.... i wonder if i had goofed when making a game purchese and used the wrong card.... as the temp card was closed when i activated the new one... humm... did i really screw this up for myself????? now i will have to go back and look at all the things i did to hopefully figure this out.... i pray it wasnt me that caused this crap...

EDIT got the ecard for what was owed to BP.... Now to see, which i will have to wait till morning for all this to clear up.... No i have not checked yet on what card i used....believe me i will be doing that asap.... cause now i am really wondering ...

Count me in as as Subway card user too. There are no fees, you can use more than one at at time as sanddollar said, and they are easy to get. I can get them anywhere....Dollar Store, WalMart, gas stations, etc. The one's I've seen at WalMart are usually $15 or $25 but the ones I can get as the Dollar Store can be loaded with any amount you choose up to $150. Some places allow you to reload the same card but our local store can't/doesn't do that so I just get a new one when it runs out.

thank you thank you thank you again everyone..... i am waiting on BP...the funds was taking off the ecard.. . like i said it may be in the morning before all is clear... the message said before it can take up to 24 hours..... i checked everything i had and no way can i tell what card i used.... but while looking and writing a new ticket to support i clearly remember removing the old one.... but the things is... did i do that before or after said purchese... i no clue....lol so i asked BP if i can get the number that was used....

i normally get mail from BP before i leave for work.... so if i have time... I will come and say what i found out on my issue... if not be after work.... as it may be last day till it starts to snow....the bank told him to stop cutting yards... he said there was no warning this time.... last year he had a 3 day warning to stop.... go figure see yall how my luck is??... not good at all....lol

i got the ecard.... if you wish to wait to see how things go with me you can.... i was able to buy a 5 dollar one.(ECARD)... since it was the lowest and the amount owed wasnt but 4.... BP system took it..... now i went to balance and it does say reload.... lowest on that is 10 dollars... also there was a way to save card number when buying on game.... i didnt save thinking i wasnt able to reuse or what not... i am gonna start useing cards as it to me will be cheaper in long run.... i can use the extra i save to buy things in the game like power feed or something....lol

so i thought i point it out to those who wishes to just get one card..... also subway did have a mail option.... but i wanted to try the ecard (is faster and saves a trip to stores....lol). like most have said you can buy the real cards at almost anywhere anyway....lol oh also i am in the USA for those who maybe wondering why my numbers can be different then yours....

I have use Subway, CVS and Dollar General. I have not had any problems with them. Subway and DG are the easiest reload process.

 

well i got on saw they emailed me.... i checked the game..... all is back to normal there.... went back to look at email to find out this one person just told me i had a opened ticket.... so i copied most from that ticket to the so call ticket he/she said was still opened.... i did thanked them for restoreing my options...

what I did not know till after i sent mail.... i checked my card balance.... would you know that while all this time.... 31'st oct they trying to take 2.02 off my card.... so i emailed them back on that ticket number.... no i am not happy.... supposely thier system stopped my card the 27th which started all this mess.... i could not use any credit card or bank or paypal... pay pal?? they blocked paypal....lmao so i told them that i can see they lie to people and i wanted the truth now...

i dont like to be lied too... a mistake is a mistake... we can work that out... but dont you lie to me in the process...and tell me your system stopped the payment and blah blah blah... you know i am a blonde.... i am many things... but a dummy i am not... and when it comes to math which i didnt have to use... as statement clearly shows BigPoint on it.. pending transactions....

no.... i have decided to end the card anyway.... still like to know why BP is taking 2.02... as i m sure i will be charged a dollar for that transaction....i am going to go with GIFT CARDS for now on....

 

You can also reload your Subway card online without going to a store or buying a new one. I would give myself an allotment to spend per month and load that amount to the card. That was when I also was buying premium which I don't do any more. I purchased premium for the year which was cheaper. Now I think premium is a rip off compared to what we used to get. Anyway, use the Subway card as it is very easy to use and reload.

Oh, and if it is any consolation, not long after I started this game I made a purchase and never got my BBs. They took amount from my card but I never did get my BBs. I sent in support ticket three times and didn't get one response on it. I finally just moved on and chalked it off to "live and learn".

 

OK forgive me if this sounds dumb, but you actually mean you buy a gift card for Subway, or Dollar General, and the system will accept it for farmerama? Does it it charge an international fee? (my bank charges $2.00) Do you get the bonus 10% BBs? (I get 10% bonus when buying BBs when using a credit card), please forgive me you mean you are doing something different and I am misinterperting what you mean. I am in the USA

 

yes real gift cards from these stores... no worries please... i thought the same thing.... im like no way is this gonna work....lol but truth be told it does work..... so far my ecard works too... just reloaded it.... yes not sure how that will work with fees but guessing here if you use a gift card wont be any fees... i have seen that when i loaded 5 to get one... it took 6 from me.... and 20 took 21.... so not sure whats up with this(unless its netspend that added the dollar to purchurse which not sure but they do charge a fee)...

.also im not sure on the 10% BB's as i havent saved my card yet... first time gave me an option.. this time i didnt see it but maybe i over looked it...but since at this time i dont buy alot of BB's me missing out on the 10 percent wont hurt me..lol it does help yes.... just cant do it now...

EDIT: 11/11/17 or 11/12/17 CEST time. So far i yet to see a bonus on BB's useing gift cards. Maybe its cause I need a real gift card-which I got yesterday or i got to save it.. or it cant work period.. I am ok with it if not.. Be good if it did though.. Still working things out... we shall see..
