Gift giving problems

Hi Mods, please can you tell me why I can send a gift to one of my neighbours when I do it on the side bar but if I try to do it from my friends list in the Post Office it doesn't light up for me to send the gift? I know if a person has had their daily gift allowance then it won't allow you to send anything but I have just tried sending numerous gifts to people in need (not my neighbours) but it doesn't light up as if they've had their allowance so I tried it with a neighbour where it was as if they were full too but then it worked when I did it from the side bar (as they are one of my neighbours).

It may be a display glitch. Try closing the Post Office, then re-enter to see if it then works. Even if you have sent a gift to someone, their name should still be able to be checked, although if sending another gift you will get the pop up saying "you have already sent this neighbour a gift".
