Gifts and Friends

I have not been able to receive gifts since 7/17- or I just didn't receive any. That could be a possibility. More importantly, I can not send gifts to the second page of friends and neighbors I have. I can see and send to the first nine, but I can not go on to the next set.

I have refreshed, cleared the cache, re-logged in and nothing has helped so far.

Hello farmerama452,

To see your gifts, you need to go to the Game Settings tab (No. 5) and turn on "show gifts as pop-ups" in the Additional settings.


You can send 5 free gifts a day ( or 7 if you unlock the Tree of Wisdom Rune ). Are you trying to send the other Neighbours on the same day?

No, I'm not trying to send to the other neighbors on the same day- I wait until the presents are bold- I just can't get to the second page of the list of neighbors and friends I have. The first nine show so that I can pick from that group, but when I try to hit the arrows to go to the 10th through the 18th neighbors and friends, I can't get to that set.

As far as the receiving goes- the list that says a friend sent you gifts with the date and their name has not reloaded since the 17th and the names are not showing anymore in my specific "Your Gifts" screen- but thank you for the info on the pop-up way to see if I have received gifts. I was not aware of that way of finding out that information.

can you please let us know what browser you are using and your user ID, so your account can be checked. Can you also try sending gifts via the Right bar and let us know if that works?

I am using Google Chrome, userID farmerama452, 52782772. The Right Bar is only showing six friends- one of which is me. That is even less friends and neighbors than are showing in the Buddy List via the "Your Gifts" screen.

Since the last reply to my post yesterday, I have received the date and name of a friend who sent me gifts in the "Your Gifts" screen, but I am still unable to send to my friends on the second page of the Buddy List.

Neighbours and Buddies have slightly different purposes in the Game. If you are trying to send gifts to a "Buddy", you need to do that through the Gift tab on the News page or through the Post Office.
Buddies do not show on your Neighbour Bar.

Yes, I know. The Buddy List is the one that has dropped considerably- and the one I can't get the second page to come up for. The Gift Tab on the News page is the one that is not showing me that I have received gifts.

These are the problems I am still having even after the posts on Sunday and Monday.

I would like to have my account checked as was mentioned on Sunday, please.

Hello farmerama452,

The neighbours list corresponds with the one in the our logs/tools - it looks like some of the players must have removed you from their neighbours list Also, the player you are trying to gift from the second page is unavailable at the moment but they might get in touch with you as soon as they are back. Therefore, everything seems fine and it is normal to not be able to gift them. You should not have any problem with the first neighbours.

What I can do is recommend you to look for further neighbours and buddies, you have plenty of space and I am sure you will find new friends.

Thank you very much for checking for me. I got to send all of my gifts today (aside from the one who is unavailable) and I will endeavor to find more neighbors and buddies.
