    I'm just curious about how someone can send you a gift if they aren't on your neighbor or friends list? up until today I didn't even know this person existed don't get me wrong I'm not fussin about getting a gift but I tried and can't gift this person back and I didn't know you could do that

    Hello lennon_2011,

    Apart from Neighbours, you can also have Buddies. You can also send gifts to them. Buddies are mostly used during Gift & Trade. You can find how to add Buddies here.

    I know about the buddy friends but this person isn't on any of my lists not on my neighbor list or my (buddy) friend list I looked everywhere but they just aren't there that I can see

    You might not have them on your buddy list, but they can have you on theirs. If you want to send a gift back you just need to add them to your buddy list

    It is possible for others to add you. You should have received an IGM from that person, as you need to send a message before you can be added to their Buddy List.

    I tried clicking on the name in where you can see who gifted you what and it wouldn't let me send anything to them so I tried to send a thank you and it wouldn't let me do that either :0 and no one by that name has sent me any igm

    You cannot send them a gift if you have not added them to your Buddy List. Is it possible you deleted the message as you were unfamiliar with their username.
