You got the same cloud row item 7 times, I would be over the moon if I'd got those. They are going to be much sort after in the G and T event. You'll get some great swaps.

 

I have to say that I have mostly enjoyed this event. It WAS frustrating waiting to fill the cloud row, but I have it done now. Everything else is just gravy. There has been more RANDOM to this event than any other I have seen since I started playing in October 2014. I can see and feel the bitterness and frustration it is building in some. But there is a bright side to every thing. We weren't growing event crops to just give to a quest, we were just simply waiting for drops from normal farming. I can appreciate that as I needed to build stocks back up. FREE treats, just for farming normally?? I'll take it!

 

I love this event. Not that I have won very much. I have one grayed out CR. But can't help but think how many times I went fishing in RL to catch a nice Red fish and pulled up a catfish. Throw it back and try again. Only thing I am having trouble with is getting bait. Hopefully there is a next time because I think I could do a better job. Of course I could stay in the boat and fish all day and still be the last one to reel in my line. Might even win something for nothing, can't ask for much more.

 

I continue to be thrilled with this event!!!!!!!!! The EP deco items are phenomenal!!! I have finally replaced some very old 2x2's in the park with the "Fishin' Fun"!!!!!..............plus the 1x2 pond monster & 1x1 Best friends!!! All are great EP generators!!!
I cannot wait to wake up in the a.m. to harvest and see how many drops I receive! I haven't been this excited about an event in a long time!
It is creative and much appreciated that we are being rewarded to stock up our crops & animals!!!

I am very disappointed in this event. like a lot of others, set my farm to get best chance of drops, but that is not working. when I do get a few made ,all I can seem to catch is minnows, and great job. no matter when I cast. Not fun at all. vrlwr5

 

I like this event and find it fun but unfortunately I hardly get any worms in my drop items and mostly feathers

 

I got the stalk row from a low fishy, however to get the 3 items needed is difficult for me since i am loaded on gummy worms but not the lure feathers! Blah!

 

The premium lure should not catch minnow and the feather drop is way to low. But per total I like

 

Sounds like you should exchange some of your stables for crops

Gummy worms only drop from crops and trees (but trees don't give good results many found). Lure feathers on the other hand only drop from stables (not workshops).

 

Drops fine, mechanic great, not having to grow the same thing over and over excellent, prizes awesome.
Premium lure pointless, as skill is irrelevant to the prize.

Should just have not bothered with a cloud row that needed specific things- Either a free choice row that you may or may not win, or just skip the row entirely...

oh, and bring the event back a couple of times a year as a mini event

 

I think I am doing okay, only missing one item for the cloud row and will try today to get it. On an average I am able to make approximately 19 to 20 Normal lures in one day from morning to evening with a couple Premium lures. Is this a good average... I wonder? I have thought it through and don't see how I could have done any better.

 

I did finish the cloud row yesterday. I didn't use any premium lure, And I got only approximitly 8 normal lure per day. I didn't find any logic in the result. Sometime I'm right on the circle and I got the lowest fish and some other time I'm not on the circle and I got gold fish. So I think that it's really only chance. For once I got lusky I guess.

I like the concept, ,but it's should not be only chance, and the premium lure should not exist! There should be more circle and every circle should correspond to a specific fish. So we could target the kind of fish we want.

I like the concept and graphic of the game but do not like doing what you are supposed to with the catch with lining them up but still get minnow or bass. It is just as frustrating as the farm wheel to me. And the drops of feathers and worms need to be better too

 

Please get rid of turbo mulch from anything other than minnow prizes - I really don't think it is worthy of a golden fish.

 

I suggest that we post our results of fishing (for the information just pass your mouse on the box that give the progress of your catches)

10 golden trout
6 rainbow trout
22 bass
15 minnow

Only with normal lure.

 

Yesterday I had 17 normal lure. In 24 hours of harvesting the equivalent of 3 fields of STABLES. I have too many gummies.
Out of these 17 lure, I got 10 perfect circles and got 10 minnows. For the other 7, which were not perfect, I got 5 carps, 1 rainbow and 1 golden trout!!!! You must avoid the perfect circle. The rewards so far have been abysmal. CC, and EP and some mystery stable who gave me beaver dams.... I don't know what to do with them. I did get the cloud row with my first trout, and one of the item for it with a second trout. But the chance of filling the cloud is nil. The only usefulness of this quest is that I am raising more animals than usual and advancing in these quests. Otherwise it is the worse drop quest I have seen in over 4 years of play !!!!!!

 

Until now, almost all challenges are (more or less) based on players own skills and right game strategy. This one is based on pure luck. Never play again such challenge. If I want to gamble, goin to Casino, give me much more fun.

 

So far after 249 Lures (most are Regular lures) I have caught the Golden trout 14 percent of the time, 13 % for Rainbows, then 33 % for Bass and Minnows 40 % of my casts.

 

harvested 37 stables. Only one chicken (pink), rest of them requires long time to harvest, including 2 jumbo stables.
got 14 feathers!!!! you get 1/2 a feather per stable. No wonder the percentage difference between the gummies and the feather is so out of balance.

 

I'm happy to report that I got all the items for the cloud row!!!! Unbelievable.... I didn't think it was going to happen and BOOM! yay!! I also got some much needed CC's, stables and trees (where oh where do I put those). Thank you BP, given the drop situation, I am happy with my results and grateful for the cloud row. Thank you also to friends and neighbors who provided me with an assortment of drops, every little bit helped.
