Bought 1 large basket. Got CR and Best friends.
Fish Orange, Classic Beaver 2, and Pandas worked better for me. Using the closed eyes and click when counted 10 method of catching fish, much better results than my carefully placed attempts. Good luck everyone.

 

Kindly accept my begging bowl for the Cloud Row items next year during the G&T. I cannot get the items, and the pop up is not displaying anything despite clearing of caches.
I'm terribly frustrated and I think I just let it out on someone here. I feel very bad.

I think I might have got it sussed out now ..... using any lure and carefully trying to get that gold award by hitting the ring just right I still kept getting minnows .. Using a premium lure (as it go's slower) and hitting it just right on the ring straight away, no waiting and hovering for a bit .... as soon as that ring starts to expand click when it looks perfect ... getting some much better rewards ..

 

Hi Kmellish I agree with you as Normal Lure is waste of time to get Cloud Row and Cloud Row Items. As I been unable to get any Golden Box Rewards this way. From Now on is Premium Lure until the Event Ends. We do have Better Chance to get the rings lined up with Premium Lure. Plus it gives Better Rewards too. I am Still trying to get Cloud Row Items. I did Managed to get 2 Golden Bananas from Silver Box. I am Building up Lures and Gummy Worms to Make Premium Lures but have to Growing Longer Crops and Stables from Now on get more Lure and Gummy Worms this way.

Still not able to get Machine Parts Dropper Refinement from Pumpkins or Lily of the Valley it is hard to get hopefully get lucky real soon. I might have to put out Stables to get As Many Lures as I can. Use Comfort fields Nuke it with Supergrow and buffs to Make up for Gummy Worms to Make Premium Lures.

 

I've given up on premium lures as I didn't get better results.

So far got CR and 1 giver from ordinary lures.

What works for me is to collect about 10-20 lures (takes me most of the day) and then use them in one session of fishing!

 

I have found I get better results from normal lures and clicking rings when they are all white, in other words outside. Keep getting the top two fishes boxes.

I have a variety of animals on all fields so not sure what is best as I have not recorded it and I did not buy any baskets.

 

From 7 Rabbit Pen Orange and 5 Goat pen Orange, I only got 3 feathers.

 

Silly question...where can I see what prize I have won? It's not displaying...just "nice job" shows up.

I do not know how I am playing this game. For the same circle effect one time I get minnow, the next time I get the golden or rainbow trout. Once I clicked the circle after it was an inch or so inside the outer one, I got a golden fish. But rainbows and goldens are not easy to get, however you try. I still can't figure out the mechanism of this game. So just click & click & try to be accurate and get satisfied with the prizes you get. I haven't tried on premium lure except once. Do you get Golden or rainbow fishes more often in it ?

Hi uggi when you get a good 'job fish' notice the table on the right. It tells you how many of each type of fish is needed to get a prize.
So you need 4 'good job' fish to get a prize. Good luck

 

I finally filled my CR
I've been putting out my longest stalls overnight...raccoons, fox, tortoise, wolves, pinks, reds...anything in the 16 to 24 hour range. I'm NOT using PF on them, just the CR, cheese balls and valentines pots. I get on average 35-38 feathers per field.
Now I'm having trouble keeping up with gummy worms.....just don't want to use my SG on this event.
I'm making only normal lures...it doesn't seem to matter I still catch A LOT of minnows

Having read this thread and the Player Feedback on the event I have ripped out all my fields and worshops and put high level animals in, filling every plot. I hope to get more feathers. It would seem there isn't much difference in using normal or prime lures but I would appreciate hearing feedback from others.

 

After 61 std baits tried, I have still gotten none of the givers. But I've got very good prizes, instead. Very good, indeed, many very good of them. Of course, results are absolutely not linked to how good I am -or not- at hitting the greenish circle in full: completely random results. I noticed I got less "nices" today, though.

I seem to be having better results with pens and feather lures than with crops/trees and gummy worms. I'll later switch to pens but the gummy worms I got in the crops-focused day have only been barely enough to consume the feather lures I had accumulated the day before.

The more tries I do, and the more I read here about what other players are getting, the more I get convinced this time BP decided to turn the Farm Wheel logic into an event: there's little difference from using party spins and getting or not the scarecrows or the flowers. It's just that the alternate prizes are, in this case, better, at least for me. Other than that, it's exactly like spinning the wheel.

 

For anyone that’s still struggling with this….
As we already know, lining up the circles as intended does not work; you have to find your own “sweet spot”

I have the Cloud row and some great rewards by finding this spot, mine is by landing the moving circle just outside the stationary circle so that the 2 circles and the empty space between them is all equal. (looking like a bulls eye.)

Sorry to say that I tried the same thing on another farm and it didn’t work, I had to use the opposite of the first one. The moving circle had to land on the inside of the stationary circle to form the bulls eye so every player may be slightly different.

***DO NOT make premium lures, other than the speed of the moving circle they make no difference at all. Total waste of your drops.

I'm filling my fields with mid level animals (goats, turkey, goose) during the day and long crops overnight. I've found zero drop difference between an Orange Turkey and a Pink Ostrich. These drops are totally random and do not seem to be based on a higher EP pen like we are used to seeing with normal event drops.

UPDATE: Sweet Spot for 2 days turns sour! Today my spot gives nothing but Minnows! It's seems like they are just messing with our heads. I'm sitting here scratching mine wondering what the heck is going on with these fish.

I got more feathers now, but still have 197 worms and 1 feather after making my lures. edit: I have gotten all my worms from trees. I have torn out a lot of trees and am still getting more worms than feathers to make my lures.

Here are my results:

4 premiums lures netted 1 golden 2 minnow and 1 bass. I have done 23 regular lures since then.

4 golden trout : cloud row, fishing fun, spring wreath, 8 super grow.
2 rainbow : 2 golden bananas
10 bass : 22000 cc, 2 cac
11 minnow :2 power feed, 6000 cc

I now have cloud row with 1 item and still need the other 2.

 

@Bhodho, I have won some extra cloud row items, a Pond Monster and a Best Friends, so I've got you covered...Mr Pesident!!

 

Those are the 2 I need also, weird how we all got the row first.
