Greenhouse and Plant Refinery

This is the first time I have used the greenhouse. Do the items you receive stay in inventory to be used over and over again or are they used once?

If they are one time only do you find them worth the amount of plants required to make them?

The things you get from the Greenhouse are buffs, not items. Once you have them they can be activated and deactivated as you like, to make best use of the limited slots for active Greenhouse effects (up to 6)
Some (a very few) of them are very useful in certain situations, but many plants do not have any refinements which are worth the amount of plants required.

I've got the Chestnut cloud row which improves supergrow....that along with Sweet Innocence and Fruitcake plus the Greenhouse refinements for improved supergrow for Roses or Carnations allows me to get instant harvests on those crops...even in comfort fields. That's extremely useful for drops for hard events.

Other than that, the time reduction on some of the crops can be very useful to help them fit in with your harvesting timetable, on crops you grow again and again. I've got 15% time reduction on Mushrooms, which make them a good overnight crop in comfort fields. I used a lot of mushrooms making basic chutney to level up my Confectionary, and there's a steady market for them, so they're worth growing.

I also researched some of the refinements which give 1000x chance to drop the really rare tools, like feather collector and wooden mallet. That isn't because I need lots, it's because they have a very high barn value and can be used for some events where you have to donate a certain value of items.

Apart from those three situations, I wouldn't say that the Greenhouse is particularly good value. You have to pick and choose what you want.
