    Hello lovely people,
I have been playing Farmerama for over 5 years and still love it! I live in Colorado, and am married to a Police Sgt who is a super wonderful man. I have two small dogs- one toy poodle and one maltipoo. I am a retired Florist and teacher of Floral Design. After being forced to retire due to health problems, I had to close my shop of 17 yrs. I stopped working after being such a workaholic for over 30 yrs. I started playing Farmerama once I found myself staying home as I require supplemental oxygen which has made me homebound.
30 months ago I had an additional health diagnosis of multiple brain aneurysms. Two berry aneurysms and one trifurcation aneurysm. I have been blessed so far that nothing has ruptured. I was fortunate to undergo Endovascular Coiling for the two berry aneurysm which saved my life. It was discovered that the one remaining and largest aneurysm is inoperable at this time. I am waiting for FDA approval of the diversion stent. After my most recent brain angiogram I found out my two coiled berry aneurysms have completely healed. Great news!!!!!
Having Farmerama to tinker with in the hospital sure made the time fly while waiting hours to be wheeled in have a catheter tube shoved up into my brain! Thanks Bigpoint!
Shortly after the first diagnosis, Playing Farmerama really distracted me, entertained me and brought joy to my life. It now has become part of my daily routine, and honestly I don't mind paying for silly things to enhance my game. Please Bigpoint please allow me to continue playing. Please resolve all of my login issues. This game really means a lot to me. Thanks again for creating it!
Merry Christmas and Love to all my forum friends and the folks at Bigpoint!

BeingStella Merry Christmas, I wish you to have courage for what you are going through but I don't think you need it since you are really brave.:) I am happy you have found this game and you enjoy it! I am also a 5-year farmerama player and I haven't got bored it.

Awww Thank you Arielh! Despite the removal of several items off of my Bucket List, having this aneurysm is a piece of cake! Just no skydiving, rocky mountain climbing, professional womens body building and cliff diving, bungee cord diving, or parasailing...and gosh darn it! scuba diving! but other than that...I can play Farmerama so I am happy! :)

Wow! I have only been playing for a few months because I was bored with another farm game and needed the added distraction. You have been blessed and good luck to fixing your log in issues. Going to rethink my life and issues and place them in perspective. :p

Thanks IrsaDefiance and Willow! I found out the good news about my two coiled aneurysms this past Monday! I am especially glad I did not have complications or clotting ...otherwise I would be typing from a hospital bed right now...and I am not I am home! Thanks for the prayers that the Diversion stent gets the FDA approval so my insurance company will forgo the cost of the $265,000.00 procedure!

Thoughts and prayers are with you Stella as you wait for a new procedure. I am so happy to hear your other 2 aneurysms have healed. I haven't been playing as long as you, but, I, too, found Farmerama while at home for medical issues. It is part of my daily routine and the friends I have made here are blessings. Let's hope the New Year finds you continuing to have improvement in your health.:)

Thanks puppiesponies and cutie carrot! Its been quite the journey! I am also diagnosed with type 2 diabetes! It will be one year and it seems finally I have the hang of controlling my sugar levels! I love to cook for my family and I find myself looking up recipes based on some of the items here on Farmerama! LOL so silly...really. My egg nog this year turned out fantastic! not that I could have any...but the few sips I did enjoy were great!

    8) Oh, Stella - what a brave and upbeat person you are!! Your introduction has taken my breath away, and I can only say how very very sorry I am for the things you're going through...and how very very encouraging your attitude is to others!!
Thank you so much for sharing with us....I'm sooo glad to meet you.
None of us can know the burdens we each carry unless we share them - which takes courage to do - but this Forum seems filled with many kind and caring people, who have also carried their own burdens, and who offer their loving thoughts, support, and prayers to others.
I'll be looking forward to finding your posts...as if finding hidden gems.
And I have to say...your egg nog has made my mouth water!! My Dad used to make some every year when he was alive, and I still look forward to it every year...even though now it's 'store-bought'!! Mmmmm..Yum!!

Thank you for your kind words Farmlily! I've always been a natural pollyanna at heart. I hope to connect with anyone dealing with brain aneurysms and diabetes, especially newly diagnosed. I know how scary it can be, and how faith takes the wheel. No point in trying to drive this rollercoaster called life, just hang on and enjoy the ride.
