Halloween Fairy Event - Den upgrades

Hello, I managed to upgrade the first fairy den twice and was seeing 3 blue stars lit up, producing two points of apparently three possible on the cumulative timer. After harvesting a very nice reward of 2 progress points and 350,000 cc I see that the upgrade on that particular den is still visible.

My question is, of course asking after reading the FAQ first, is it necessary to upgrade the dens only once to get the better rewards each harvest thereafter?

The rewards will be better with each upgrade. How many upgrades you choose is entirely your decision.

I should have worded my question better than I did...Are the fairy den upgrades permanent? My first impression was that the den would need to be upgraded before each and every harvest, individually. However, after seeing that the upgrade did not disappear after harvesting the first time, this does not appear to be how it works. I suspect now, after seeing the process in action, that it necessary or maybe even possible to upgrade each of the fairy dens to maximum only once, then it will continue to harvest the best results after doing so time after time. If this is the correct process, then the event is more generous and doable than I had first thought. My next question would be, is this how the event was intended to work? I will be overjoyed if it is.

I do have another inquiry. I believe I used 2 of the grimoires to upgrade, and was wondering how many gimoires are required to completely upgrade to maximum each fairy hut?

Yes, the upgrades are permanent. There are 3 fairy dens and each one can be upgraded up to 3 times and then they stay upgraded for the duration of the event.

It takes 1 Grimoire to upgrade a fairy den so you will need 3 for each den making a total of 9 (3 dens x 3 upgrades).
