We had another fantastic Halloween last night. Family and friends gathered at my daughter's home. She cooked 2 huge pots of spaghetti with salad. Grandparents sat around the candy table talking and visiting while the younger parents escorted the children around the neighborhood. We had several hundred trick or treaters without a doubt. They walk, they are pulled in trailers behind 4 wheelers and vehicles. The little ones dressed in costumes and painted faces and having a great time. We love to see the costumes.Someone in the neighborhood even rented a bouncy house and had a cotton candy machine. We also have 3 patrol cars patrolling the neighborhood with blue lights flashing to remind everyone to keep our little ones safe. everyone gone and home by 9:00. We did have 1 thing missing last night. My son-in-law had to work, but he has a friend who is almost 7 foot tall who he bought a Big Foot costume for and he peeps out from behind the palm trees as the little ones get their candy. The little ones love him, the parents not so much. Hope everyone had fun!

    Sounds like a wonderful Halloween, BlessedLady2 :)
We had a total of 6 trick or treaters this year.
I would have loved to have 100's because I love seeing the little ones in their costumes.
I had 2 little guys, one was dressed as mickey mouse and the other spider man. They were both about 2 years old and sooo adorable!!
Brings me back to when my son was a little boy :)

Had a hard Halloween. :( The first year I didn't walk around with my Grandchildren. Why do they have to grow up? That brick on their head doesn't work. LOL. They had a good time.

From what age children start to go for trick or treat and when they usually stop?
blessedlady2 you have been blessed for once again:) Sounds like an amazing Halloween!
The idea of Halloween sounds such a mystery to me. I can only imagine it though movies and what you tell me.
    We don't have that here.
