It must be a very important event the World Tamil Conference, you said it is the 10th, so it has started 10 years ago?
I haven't heard about Dravidiam & Ambedkar-Periyar Study Circle can you tell me maybe some official site to read about it?

Actualy the event is conducted once in 4 years and the 1st World Tamil Conference started in 1966 in Malaysia.

The world 'Tamil Sangam' is of ancient nature. We had 3 Tamil Sangams where poets & Scholars of Tamil got together and presented and analysed their works in Tamil.

Tamilnadu is a pennisular and due continental drift & Tsunami most of the places of first Tamil Sangam & Second Tamil Sangam is now under the sea. The works were also destroyed. Also many books were deliberately destroyed with ulterior motives. Only Tolkappiyam & 3rd Sangam Books survied. There is lot more to this than that can be discussed here.

Now excavations in Keezhadi and other places are confirming the ancient civilizations of Tamils. More is yet to come.
Attirampakkam – Middle Palaeolithic culture was present in Tamilnadu around 385,000 years ago. Whereas as per Out of Africa theory, humans dispersed from Africa only around 125,000 years ago or later. So people here did not come from Africa. These were also discussed in the Seminar of the World Tamil Conference.

About Ambedkar-Periyar Study Circle, those are Study Circle of college students of belonging to socially and educationally backward classes to secure their social & educational rights and also for their upliftment. Anyone can form them in their educational institutuions.
