Harvest Helper Subscription/Big Fish

Hello,

How come I'm not seeing the sales price for the harvest helper subscription? I had previously bought this subscription (outside of mini event), and the price I paid is the same price as what's offered in current sale, which is $12.99+$1.23 tax = $14.22.

If I'm entitled to sales price, then this subscription should be costing me around $11 + tax.

If anyone can shed light on this, much appreciated!!

Could you please be so kind and click on the event timer promoting the subscription, and see if the sale window appears? If yes, can you take a screenshot of the offer and its price? In the past, we encountered one (probably similar) issue, while the players were not able to buy any of the event baskets - this might be related.

Hi teddy, the package can be purchased. (I checked as I too log in through BigFish.) It is the price that max_808 is questioning. (I looked and indeed the price listed by BigFish is 12.99 but I checked with someone else who logs in with BigPoint and it is the same price there.) The question I think comes from the conversion of euros to dollars and I don't know what the conversion rate was when the sale price was set.

(The first window just says 30% off. No price listed until you click to buy when it takes you to the shop in the village.)

Tax issues are way above our levels so there is nothing we can advise you in this case, I am really sorry. The prices can vary based on your location or partner you signed up through, but I would recommend you to contact either Big Fish Games Support either Farmerama Support for further details.

Thank you both for trying to help me on this. So, bottom line, I think the Harvest Helper Subscription sales price is just not available to me. Because price is the same whether the mini-event is happening or not.

I've had occasion in the past to contact Big Fish (when I first started playing this game), and it was maddeningly frustrating. I get two or three automated replies, before a real person actually reads and responds to my issue, many days later. I guess they want to weed out and ignore those who asks questions that can be answered by their FAQ. So, I'll forego contacting them for now, until this issue really gets to me again in future.

 

If it's any help, I've found that there are a handful of things that BigFish doesn't seem to support - usually it's short term things like the harvest helper sale. When I first started playing (about a month ago) BigPoint had a weekend BB sale - and BigFish didn't support it. My take on it is that it's not worth them working it into their system since the sale is only for two days. They seem to be fine with items that are baskets for quests and such - those things tend to last longer, so they must feel they are worth the 'trouble'. OR, Bigpoint has them coded so they are the same price for every quest and thus BigFish's system can recognize it.
