Harvester issue

Hi!

I won a coupon for 48 hours of all helpers and am enjoying it. The harvester works great, except for one problem. When I use it on my givers, it won't harvest from my Base Factory 4 or the Scratching Your Back item. Any ideas why this might happen?

Are you using the Pet & Buff Givers Tab to harvest your Buff Givers?
The normal harvester function has never harvested Pets as they rewards buffs.

I don't think that would work. These two items aren't pets and just give EP, no buffs. They live on the park with my other EP/crate givers.

 

Scratching your back is not just a giver. It gives a buff of 5% more EP for mainland 'Other' crops for 2 hours and will need to be harvested with the Pet and Buffs button as shown above.

You are correct that the Base Factory 4 has no buff properties and should harvest with the rest of your givers. Would you please try deleting it from your field and placing again to see if that helps?

It should, but it won't be. If you remember when the factory was introduced, we couldn't place it in the park, just on the mainland fields. Players complained that the item was harvested by the harvester, not allowing for buff optimization. We asked to either be allowed to place it in the park (preferably), or that it wasn't harvested by the harvester. BP overdid it and provided both

 

Ahhhhh, okay that explains things. I'm not a newbie, but I didn't start playing until after the Factory was introduced. So I missed that issue.
