    I have looked all over and I am sure I have just missed it. Is there a section or post that might help me with thinking which animals might be the best to raise, or helpful hints about what is most productive to raise etc.

    There is no such info :oops: As each player has their own system for playing, it is each individual's choice as to how they play.
    You may decide to focus on raising animals to go towards completing Farmer's Society Quests or seeing what is selling best in the Market to raise funds.
